My ipod a1137 is showing data but i am not able to play the song

Hi, your ipod displaying data and not playing might be because you did not transfer the music properly or the format of the music does not play on an ipod.

You will need a converter to help you convert songs into an ipod format. Download from the below link:

effectmatrix.com/total-video-converter/

You can follow the instruction below to know how to transfer music into an ipod.::

Most common problem for new ipod user is how to put music onto ipod. So I created this ipod tips to solve this problem. Windows media player is not able to upload songs to ipod. You must use Apple iTunes to get music onto your iPod. Windows Media Player can see the iPod as a hard disk. But not able to copy upload music from pc to ipod.

The steps to put music onto an Apple iPod with itune.
When you plug ipod to your pc first time through USB, you might get this pop up message. If you have already installed itune .

You need to restart your computer to install ipod and then the next time you start up, your iPod will not generate any messages of this nature.
You need to install itune on your computer if you have not installed itune. You can simply go to apple.com/itunes to download the latest version. It also comes with ipod CD.
The next step is to launch the iTunes program. And it will recognize the ipod that you have plugged in

It shows one message to give name to ipod, You can stick with the default name for your device or give name to ipod.
I also uncheck "automatically update music" because I like to control what happens to my iPod manually.
When you're done with this configuration step, click "Next" :
register your iPod, or just click "Finish".

Step 1

Now, finally, you can see iTunes and also your ipod inside your itune:
Click on whatever name you've given to your own iPod, and you'll see your music list, which is completely blank:

Now click on the "Library" link on the left column and you'll see what albums or music you've copied into your iTunes library. Or click on the "Browse" button on the top right (it looks like an all-seeing eye) and a new panel will show up with lists of songs, artists and albums.

Now select the song you want to put on to your ipod. then dragging and dropping that onto the name of the iPod on the left side panel of your itune. Now your song are copied to ipod.

Hope it helped.
Feel free to pass your comment.

Good luck..

I put songs on my mp3 player and only five show up? is it ok to use i tunes

well i would advice not to use itunes to upload music onto your player unless its an ipod

have you tried manually putting the music files in the player
(my computer, clicking on device and dragging music files)

or maybe there is a specific folder in which you must put your music
just do a search on your computer and the files that work put your music in that folder

hope it helps, dont forget to vote

yes you can your mp3 player can play both wma or mp3 types of format so if you have songs in your windows media player or you have a other sorce that you use to play your music with you can upload your music to your nextar,it should have came with a usb cable plug 1 end into your nextar and the other end into your computer to upload any of your downloaded music including any music that you have stored on your computer off cd's or and music that you got off the internet.

Uploading songs onto the Missil flashMP3 player

Drivers required only for Win98. Other versions on Windows have drivers installed. Plug usb cord into PC and into Missil Player. Open my computer, removable disk which is the Missil player) and file where desired music is. Drag music from storage file to "removable disk in "my computer". Treat it as a hard drive copy to, delete or format. To continue playing where you left off when restarting, hold off/pause button down for 3 seconds before shutting off.

Problem with creative

Are you putting music on the player or on an SD card? What format are the files? If they are iTunes m4a files, the creative player won't read or play them. If they are not mp3 or wma files they have to be converted using 3rd party software.
If you put music on the SD card you have to either browse the card from the main menu or import the songs from the SD card to the player itself. The files won't just list from the main music menu. I have one of those players and it worked pretty well but it takes some playing with to get the hang of some of the features and so on.
Are you using the software that came with it? You may want to check the Creative site for updated software, and I also noticed there is an update for the firmware if it is not already updated.

Let me know if I can help further.

Cheers

Sandisk 240 1.0 gb

I had this same problem. What I ended up doing was going into My Computer into the device itself and seeing what showed up. It appears a few new songs I popped on there the day after were appearing but nothing else. I deleted all the files, unplugged it from the computer and let the library update, old songs were still playing. Plugged it back into the machine and voila they showed up.
