Notebook wireless card

Enable the wireless in the BIOS if it has been disabled.
Next install the wireless card driver if it has not been installed.
Download the device drivers from the Acer WEB site. Makesure you select the model of your laptop the drivers you that require thatmatches the Windows version that is installed on your laptop. Use this link toget to the Acer support: -

Next - your wireless router needs to be configured with the wireless settings.
Then the wireless card in the Acer needs to be configured with the routers wireless settings.

No the laptop has an in-built wireless card so there's no need for an add-on.
The switch is a slide switch which is at the very front of the laptop on the left hand side of the headphone and microphone jack.
When you slide the switch a LED will come on.

Under MS Windows XP, click the dropdown menu & choose,
Audio Driver Realtek Ver. 5.10.0.5273
A download window will open, click to Save. Creat a folder on you're desktop & name it sound driver. Save the download file into the folder.
If you prefer the MS Windows Vista, do the same as mentioned above.
The downloaded file will be compressed in a .zip format. Use WinZip to uncompress the files into the folder you created.

It is suggest that you check Add/remove programs & unstall any previous sound drivers before installing Acer's driver software. If you sound still does not function, please run windows update service. Code 10 can mean many different things, including you're system may contain a virus.

hi there,
i have a new acer aspire 5052, i have installed windows xp,
the problem is that cannot install bluetooth, i get errors like "Device not found"
and when i switch on the bluetooth button, the display shows "no device"
