Phone Screen(s) say "NO LINK TO BASE. MOVE CLOSER TO BASE, TRY AGAIN." No dial tone, however phone line is working as I have connected another different type phone which works fine. I have a Jack 2 settup for my Satelite TV. The home base jack 2 does not light up green/red anymore, however, the extention unit by the TV is lite up green. this depends on what phone you have. most pjones when you open the back of the battery cover, their is a connect button really small. look around the base for a connect button and press the base connect button first, then the phone. after abit they should connect to each other. plaese let me know if this does not work

it needs to be registered with the base on phone go to menu scroll down til you see register, registration, register base, sect it, then it will tell you to set it on base, after that wait a few minutes til its done, pick up phone, you should now have a dial tone, also if you have your manual, look up how to registar base, it might be easier instructions there.

several things check the base is connected to mains power and switched on.
You have obviously checked to see if it is outof range,and checked the batteries.
If you are using more than one base check that you ar connected to the right one.
Also if you have too many appliances connected to the phone point they won`t run.

Phones have no dial tone and a message that says

Unplug base (both connections) and re-plug them again. It works for me whenever this happens.

Handset can not link.
• If any handsets become inoperable, place it on the main base cradle for 20 seconds to re-register.
No dial tone
• Check or repeat installation steps
• Make sure the base power cord is connected to a working electrical outlet.
• Make sure the telephone line cord is connected to the base unit and the modular phone jack?
• Disconnect the base from the wall phone jack and connect another phone to the same jack. If there is no dial tone on the second phone, the problem might be your wiring or local service.
• The handset might be out of range of the base. Move closer to the base.
• Make sure the battery is properly charged (for 16 hours).
• Ensure the battery pack is installed correctly.
• Did the handset beep when you pressed the TALK/CALL BACK button? Did the in use indicator come on? The battery may need to be charged.

Place the phone in the base cradle for a minute and it should re initialize and solve your issue.

To resolve this issue, you have to re-register the handset.

To do this on a non-expandable cordless phone:
Press and hold the LOCATOR/INTERCOM button on the Base until a beep sounds.
Press and hold the FLASH/CALL WAIT button on the Handset until a beep is heard.
When registration is complete, a beep sounds from the handset.
Wait for 20 seconds after registration is complete to allow the handset to establish communications with the base.
If this fails to help:
Remove the AC Adapter from the phone base or wall outlet for a few seconds and reconnect. It may also be necessary to remove the battery from the handset for a brief moment.

To do this on a expandable cordless phone system:
Press and hold the LOCATOR/INTERCOM button for the extension that is displaying "No Link To Base" on the Base until a beep sounds.
Press and hold the FLASH/CALL WAIT button on the Handset that is displaying "No Link To Base" until a beep is heard.
When registration is complete, a beep sounds from the handset.
