This can be difficult if you are not familiar with computers.. First go in to your control panel, and search for something with sound displayed. Click on this which should pull up something about drivers. Like which one you have ext. You may have to manually click on this, and manually install an audio driver. If you go to trouble shooting and type your problem it may have better detailed steps.

No audio output device is installed

That statement might be true. The audio output device is hardware. If the hardware is present, go to control panel, hardware and sound, sound, audio devices... look for audio hardware, At that point, I like to delete any devices, then go to actions, search for new hardware. If found, windows will usually know what drivers the devices need. On some PCs you need to have a driver disk with special drivers If no hardware is found, you need to go to a PC repair shop or buy a book on PC maintenance and repair...I like the book, others like the repair shops, your choice.

After using Driver Genius my system audio device cannot be found. Everything I can check reports normal function except there is no audio device found.

You might have updated to an incompatible driver. Not all new drivers work on all devices. Realtek drivers for example often are incompatible with specific devices, where you need a driver from the PC manufacturer. The Realtek driver will install without problems though. Just no sound anymore after that.

Try rolling back you audio driver.

'' my computer displays the message,'' no audio devices found....''

I've had this problem before as well. You need to download the right driver, ie. Vista 32/64 bit, XP, Windows 7, etc. You should  be able to go to Sony.com and look up the right driver if you can find your model number. If you have any problems, repost and i can try to help some more.

Audio device erased

You have to reinstall your audio driver. Answers to your questions: 1. You can locate it in your Device Manager. Locate and expand Sound, video and game controllers. 2. You don't have to delete legacy drivers because reinstalling your audio driver will update it. Right click your audio software the one you found in the Device Manager and update it. It will find your installation cd of your system drivers. Else, manually install the audio driver.

Acer Aspire 5610

go to the device manager on your computer, and look at the Audio devices, and see if there is a yellow(!) next to anything, if not right click on the audio device, and select uninstall, say yes to all the prompts that follow, then reboot. When then computer boots back up it should show a found new hardware wizard, follow all of the on screen instructions and this should fix your problem.
