I cannot set up email alerts from my dvr. It tells me I cannot connect to server. I have followed the instructions but to no avail.

I assume you have hooked your DVR to the Internet ok?
If you have an email account on your PC, say in Outlook or Thunderbird then it will have SMTP settings. Use the same settings to set up email alerts on your DVR.

Free Yahoo, Gmail etc email alerts on Mobile

Checking emails has become a part of daily chores. Many a times we don't get email or useful/needed email. Better be informed through email alerts on mobile for all the email-ids you own. In simple set auto-forward option to 'yes' for all your email-ids to the one email-id, where you can get email alerts on mobile free of cost. Probably in settings/options/account you can activate the email-alerts on mobile. Start receiving email-alerts now.

Hi I have Samsung B2100 mobile phone. When I receive a message, the sound is so loud. Can you please tell me how to control the volume.

menu/settings/phone profiles, select profile, then choose options at the low left corner of display. Here, you can adjust type of sounds you want and its loudness. Navigate to the right with your central button and here you are navigating downwards: 1. - message alert type chooser, 2. - message alert tone, 3. - message alert repetition, 4. - email alert type, 5. - email alert tone, email alert repetition, and finaly, 6. - alert tone volume. To enter into the submenu, first click direct the central button, and then choose the volume with left or right part of your central button. I am not a perfect english speaker, therefore I hope I was clear enough making this explanation.

Our monitoring system reported the following event. Just want to know the severity and what does the message entails. Alert Details Alert CategoriesEvents - SNMP Traps DeviceLTC DR Pro100 Firewall Alert...

Your firewall keeps a log of events. It periodically overwrites or starts a new log. It has a place in it's settings to put an email address so that it can send these logs to person overseeing this device. It is upset because it is trying to email the log to you but their is something wrong with the email address it is trying to send it to (could be empty, typo, etc...), find and check the setting for email address.
