Hi I had this recently do you have a small oblong button right below the spacer bar you might have pressed it by mistake, while dusting etc, this freezes the pointer, also on my previous laptop I had the same problem but no button, so that was fixed by closing it down, unplugging it, removing the battery and replacing then switching back on, very important though to unplug from the mains......
it is likely the phone is in headset mode. If you've got a headset button programmed, then it should be lit.... if so, press it and it should work for you.
If you don't, you might be able to use the blue superkey to either turn off headset mode or set a button. Press the Blue superkey, Press an unused button in the two rows of buttons. Press the "Change Key" softkey (under the display). Press No until you see headset key... press Yes. Press the superkey again to get out of the programming. Now that you've got the key programmed for headset, press it, if it's lit, press it again. Test your speakerphone. If this doesn't work, I believe you would have a defective phone and should report it to your system admin or telephone system vendor for repair/replace.
No. It's a programming item and a code or softkey.
The user connects the modular headset to the handset jack on
the telephone leaving the handset in place. The ON/OFF
button on the Digital Telephone is used to initiate and end calls
while using the headset.
To activate Headset Mode:
Dial [634] on the dial pad,
-or-
Press preprogrammed HEADSET MODE button. LED lights
steady.
To deactivate Headset Mode:
Dial [634] on the dial pad,
-or-
Press the preprogrammed HEADSET MODE button. LED
extinguishes.
While Headset mode is active, the ON/OFF button
activates the headset and disables speakerphone
and intercom call announce operation at your
station.
To install the headset, see the Installation Manual.
Station must be programmed in database
programming for headset operation before the
flexible button can be programmed.
Be sure the headset you have is compatible with the Merlin Magix and a 4424 L4D+ phone. You will need to program both the headset status and headset hangup buttons. Headset status will negate the need for lifting the handset. and the hangup button is used to disconnect the call.

Make sure you select the wireless when you do the setup.
Also send this to your family
and friends so they have their computer setup properly. Web Camera’s have to be
setup on the program they are to be used with.Just installing the camera on your computer does not set it up to
broadcast on messengers or Skype.
Each program has Options that have to be setup in order for
the Audio and Video to function properly. Skype Setup:
After downloading and installing Skype (http://www.skype.com/intl/en-gb/download/skype/windows/beta/downloading/)
set it up as follows:
Go to Tools,
then Options, and click on Audio Settings and set the Microphone
and Speakers to the computer Audio Card.
Then
click on the Video Settings.
The
camera if Installed Properly will come up and show a video picture.
Then,
on the bottom of the page click on Save.
The camera and audio should function properly.Your friends and Family will now be able to
see and her to you. Hope this helps.Bud

Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the MouseReceiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
I have the 8 button phone and if you hook up your headset the right way you just have to press the line/feature access key all the way to the right instead of picking up the receiver. Keep the headset on all the time and just press that button to answer or hang up the calls. It works great! ( I have the Dterm80 telephone)
Pairing your Cell Phone to your Bluetooth Headset: (FROM Bluetooth Headset) 1.Make sure Bluetooth Headset is fully charged! 2.Hold down talk button (center button of headset) up to (Five) 5 seconds, then WAIT until you see a solid blue light then immediately flip open earpiece part of headset. THIS MEANS the HEADSET IS NOW IN PROGRAM MODE. AT THE SAME TIME/ WHILE BLUETOOTH IS STILL OPEN & IN PROGRAM MODE…. (FROM CELL PHONE)
1. Click on “Menu” (Left Button) 2. Scroll to Bluetooth icon. (Lower Right Hand side of menu) 3. Click “Ok” button 4. Then click on “My Devices” 5. Click “OK” again 6. Select “FIND NEW”: Cell phone searches/connects to pair up with Bluetooth Headset. 7. Once your Cell phone discovers your new headset, select “ADD” or click on the recently paired headset device. 8. You will then be prompted to enter a pairing code. Use either.. a.0000or b.1111 or c.9999 Congratulations on paring/ connecting your new Bluetooth Headset w/ to your new Cell phone!
You can't program numbers vocally to you headset, you can only program vocally to your phone only if your phone has the voice dialing option.
I have a H500 and can inform you of what I know.
To turn on, hold button until blue light flashes once or twice, to turn off is the same thing. To pair your headset with your phone you have to hold down the call button until the light stays on then you use your phone to pair. After pairing the headset will flash quickly then discontinue. If you are using your headset and receive another call, you press the call button on the phone to answer the other line and to also release the call. The volume up and down buttons are found on the top and bottom of the headset, up and down is dependant on which ear you wear your headset. To mute, hold both the volume up and down buttons at the same time, this also unmutes the call.
Hope this helps!
Thank you so much. You have been a life saver!!!!!!!!!Monica
