Your Samsung PN50B550 does have a USB port for USB devices formatted to FAT16 or FAT32. It supports playback of MP3 and JPG, but not movie formats through the USB drive, at this time.

I hope that helps.

How to download on verbatim flashdrive

Hi, if you want to download to the flashdrive, or external memory device you are able to "Browse" the location you would like to usually before downloading, like something from the internet. If you are trying to save pictures from your computer onto your USB flashdrive you can right click your picture, select copy then goto your start menu and select & open your USB drive, then right click and paste into the window or a folder that you have created. To create a folder on your USB, just right click into a blank space in your USB window when opened, and select NEW, then Folder =) Hope that helped

If your camera will not read or transfer internal images on to memory card

When your camera will not transfer images onto memory card this is often because the image storage has been set to 'Auto'. You need to set it back to internal memory temporarily to allow you to copy the images over to the card. Once you have done this you can set the camera back to 'Auto' and this will reset the system and you will now have access to all of the images on the card.

This particular procedure works with all cameras but the steps outlined here are for Kodak in particular.

Please follow these steps;
1) Insert the card

2) Turn the camera to Auto

3) Press review - "reading memory card"

4) Press menu and scroll down to image storage and press ok

5) Select Internal Memory and press OK

6) Scroll down to Copy - Copy Pictures to memory card

7) Scroll down to ALL and press OK - you should see "Copying" displayed

8) When the screen goes back to the main menu - Scroll to Image storage again and select Auto - OK - "Reading memory card"

You should now be able to see the pictures from your internal memory saved onto your memory card and your camera is once again ready to use.

Hi there I have pictures saved on the camera, not the memory card. How can I transfer them to the memory card so that I can put them onto my computer etc? The camera is samsung s760. Thank you.

Most of the Cameras will be having an option 'COPY' to transfer images from internal memory to memory card. If the camera does not have the option, remove the Memory card from the CAmera and connect it to computer to view the pictures from internal memory on the Computer.
Thanks for understanding..
Please let m know if you require further assistance. Thanks

Kodak easyshare c310

As far as I know, there isn't a way to copy pictures from your internal memory to the memory card. I'm not sure why you're trying to do it, but if you just need to make the pictures portable, you could transfer the pictures to your computer and put them onto a cd or an USB flashdrive.

Memory stick

Hi Amanda,

All USB memory sticks/flashdrives uses the internal power supply of the device it is attached to (such as your DVD Rec/Player and your son's laptop). Having said that, once it is plug it is then made into an integral part of the device, if something is electrically wrong with it, the flashdrive will bring the whole device down. Technically, I suspect that the flashdrive has an internal short grounding the supply line. This is the "+5VDC rail" as we call it.

If you are seeking the services of an on-site repair person, it might help that this information be relayed to him/her as it will narrow down the diagnosis to the power supply section, fusible links/resistors, regulators and others of the sort.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
