Thought I was using the kitchen time and set it for 30 minutes. came back later and seemed like heat coming from unit. could not stop timer. Eventually shut off by itself. Now have no power to the display. Circuit breaker did not trip.Maytag MMV4250AAS
You've probably destroyed your magnetron, and the magnetron thermostat.
This kind of abuse will not be covered under warranty.
It will likely run about $75 for a technician to visit the home, $75 to do the work, $75-90 for the magnetron, and about $15 for the thermostat.

Is unit totally dead, check overload that is near lamp at top of cabinet, the terminal at the overload was melted.
