Printer wont feed paper on one side

The printer will not feed the paper on one side (the right when you are facing the printer) It sounds like something is jammed but it doesnt say there is and you cant see anything. It makes a bunch of loud noises on the side that wont feed the paper

This may sound strange, but it works more often than not. Try unplugging it, turning it upside down and shaking it vigorously. Also, take some canned air and spray into where it feeds the paper. Just be careful not to spray into the ink-head.

My Star TSP600 Thermal Printer is displaying a flashing Error light. Power light on, new roll of paper loaded correctly, self-test was ineffective - nothing printed. What's my next step?

i know you stated you put the paper in correctlyin the printer but if the thermal reactive side of the paper is not facing the print head the thermal paper won't print on the wrong side of the paper. it will load into the printer and seem ok but the heat on the wrong side of the paper will not react and show any writing. Can you try turning the paper over in the printer feed holder so the other side of the paper faces the print head and give it another test .

WILL FEED PLAIN WHITE PAPER BUT WILL NOT FEED PHOTO PAPER

Follow the steps:
•1
Turn on the printer and press the Paper Feed switch until the Auto Sheet Feeder indicator light turns on.
•2
Pull up on the paper sheet feeder on the top and back of the printer and slide out the paper support.
•3
Take a stack of no more than 10 pieces of photo paper and flatten the corners, if they are curled. Curled corners may cause jams within the printer.
•4
Place the paper in the paper sheet feeder with the printable side of the paper facing up. The printable side of photo paper is the shiny or whiter side of the paper.
•5
Print your documents as needed.

Paper Cassette :

•1
Switch on the printer and press the Paper Feed switch until the Cassette indicator light turns on.
•2
Pull on the cassette on the bottom of the printer to slide it out of the printer.
•3
Flatten the corners of a stack of no more than 10 sheets of photo paper if the corners are curled. The paper may become jammed in the printer if the corners are curled.
•4
Place the stack of paper in the cassette so the paper is touching the right side and the printing side of the paper is facing down. Adjust the plastic paper guides so they touch the paper. The paper stack guides help facilitate the paper moving into the printer.
•5
Slide the cassette back into the bottom of the printer. The printer is ready for printing.

Hi ,
This problem may be due to many reason . Paper feeder rolls problem mainly. These roller may be dirty . Clean this roller using moist cotton with Cleaning liquid such as spirit or petrol or very simply Nail polish remover. Clean these roller properly to remove dust or any other material stick on these roller. This will resolve the issue. If this problem still remain continue then this problem is due to alignment problem of the roller. Contact Printer specialist for proper alignment.

Paper jams on right side when facing the printer

Please follow these steps :
1. Turn the printer off and open the access cover.
2. Look for any obstructions in the paper path and remove them if necessary. (It is possible to move the carrier assembly with the power off.)
3. Turn the printer on, load some paper, and press the Form Feed button.
4. Watch the paper as it feeds through and try to determine where the jam is occurring.
5. Check to see if all the rollers are turning.

If all the rollers are turning, there may be something in the feed path that you can't see. Go to step 6.
If not, there is probably a feed motor or a gear problem and the printer may require service.
6. If the paper is jamming under the carrier assembly, you may be able to fix it using the manual feed slot.
7. Turn the printer off.
8. Take a #10 envelope and feed it through the left side of the manual feed slot until it comes right through the printer to the back of the exit rollers.
9. Move it up and down first, and then slowly move it over to t

Paper feed

The feed rollers are probably dirty from paper lint. The feed roller on the 922 is on the right side as you face the front of the printer. I use a damp sponge to clean it. Good luck.
