first you'll need to download itunes to your computer. go to http://www.apple.com/itunes/ download itunes, on either Mac or PC. once you've download the program need to start an itunes account this requires a credit card. once you have started your account you can transfer misic from your computer or purchase music from the Apple store, or redeem itunes gift cards.

Have you used the recommended itunes converter software to convert all the media files to be uploaded to the player. If not connect the player to the PC and remove the files and then reinstall the files after downloading itunes from Apple website.
