I think you are trying to install the router using the CD.
But you can install the router without the CD also.
If you connect the computer to the modem , does it works ?
If it works then modem is working. now connect the computer and modem to the router.
open the set up page of the router. change the Internet settings according to the ISP.
Click Here for more information about router and networks.

I have been having issues with my internet connectivity for a while - its been fix after fix and i feel like im slowly fixing the problem but adding more onto it. The exact problem from the top - Spee

Problem is that ipv4 config.
For any computer on a home network an automatic IP-address is handy. So the ipv4 config should be set to DHCP.
But then there should be a router that hands out IP-addresses and the IP adress of this router should be given in the ipv4 config as Standard gateway.
That is for home, but to resolve internet adresses your computer needs DNS, you can use common dns servers, or the ones given by your internet provider.
Fill these in under DNS in the config.

Cannot get 2wire router to connect to wet610n adapters. Directv (who sent me this) cannot help. I need to know what to do to fix this issue. Keep getting error messages from 102 to 109,

Make sure wet610n adapters have the same wireless settings with your 2 wire modem and the wireless link status of the bridge shows connected. That's how wet610n communicate with wireless routers/modem. If wireless settings do not match they will talk with each other wirelessly.

109 INTERNAL ERROR

try to login to the router, plug the router in directly into the laptop and go to 192.168.1.1 and login and see that the settings are setup correctly and also try to set the wireless with all things off with the settings set to DHCP
