I had same problem when I connected any device to the HDMI ports it was just a blank screen, but when I connected laptop via the VGA input I got a display. I replaced the HDMI card and problem was sorted..
HDMI [High Definition Multimedia Interface]. VGA [Video Graphics Array]. AV [Audio Video]. By these definitions itself talk to you about the inputs your TV have; and it do not support VGA. Output from PC is VGA. Without a VGA input with the TV, you can't connect the PC to TV. I think I'm clear. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
If you mean watch what you see on your laptop on your TV, then you need to connect an HDMI cable or S-Video cable (depending on what sort of ports you have) from your laptop to your TV, then select the appropriate input on your TV or TV remote. For example if connected via HDMI and your TV has 2 HDMI inputs (ie. HDMI 1 and HDMI 2), select which one you connected to.
Ur tv some how causes HDMI 1 and 2 port hubs link together so changes back and fourth 1 or 2 HDMI hubs will not a difference.Ur tv have 4 HDMI hub ports wright?Tries not to used HDMI hub ports as like HDMI ports like 1,2,3,4 to as in sequences.Tries used like 1 and 4,2 and 4,3 and 1 as skips sequences might work for ur tv.Tries to hook up the PS3 system as the old format hook up same hook as PS2 format like used the PS station old RCA AV cable hook up.Then that should not causes conflict at all because now tv have two difference kind of format hook up.
Think your TV model is provided with HDMI port. If you want to connect means your system must have that HDMI port. using the HDMI cable you can connect your pc to your tv
One of a few things are happening. If you are connected to the TV via the HDMI port and it doesn't become highlighted then either the main board on the TV is at fault, the HDMI output on the media box is not working (try on another TV if possible) or the HDMI cable itself is bad.
yes sir..i think you must looking and buy VGA adapter 15 to HDMI complete with the HDMI cable set. you can find this adapter at the computer spare part store or electronic part store. not cheap but very usefull for you in the next day. is very easy to connecting...plug you adapter to the output VGA VAIO.. connect the HDMI cable to adapter (like USB) and the rest to the input at your samsung lcd...good luck..
The first step is to determine whether the computer, the HDMI cable or the TV is the faulty link in the chain. I know it's a tremendous hassle to try a different TV, different computer, etc. But it will at least narrow the problem down to one component. My guess is that it's something in the computer that needs reconfiguring; that would be the most likely scenario, assuming you have a new HDMI cable.
