No sound from my laptop, acer 5520G running Windows 7

My laptop, acer 5520G running Windows 7, just doesn't seem to detect any audio equipment. I can't hear anything. pls help!

Did it come with Windows 7? Ii not you will need to downloada new driver for Windows 7 go to http://gd.panam.acer.com/home/ Make sure to select the correct version of windows before you download it.

Disk defragment is first step. This will locate files closer to each other on the hard drive. Should be located in system tools. Other than that I would save all important files externally and format the drive and start fresh. Beyond that, you would probably need to upgrade.

Tpm not found or tpm problem on acer aspire 5520g
solution is try to re install the Windows Vista back and see whether the TPM will show missing. sometimes thats happening to most of the systems. when you try to put another windows thats did not came with the product, you will miss some functions such as drivers, battery not charging, internet not working, audio not working and many more. so put back windows vista and whether your problem still existing.

Acer 5520g laptop dvd drive not regonized
If its not in BIOS then sounds like a hardware problem. usually only 2 cables connects to the cdrom, power & ide OR sata. usually these two wouldnt be disconnected so i suspect bad drive.
