I don't have a problem I have a question. I have a rotor antenna. I am in between NYC and Phila. If I autotune in NYC and want to turn my rotor for Phila will this tv allow adding of channels without knocking off the NYC channels. I have a few other hdtv's and some let you add channels others just start over and you lose the first set of channels. I have yet to find a lcd dvd that will let me add on and not auto tune from the beginning. TIA phil

Most sets with digital tuners do this. The best thing to do is manually save them into memory, unless they are the same numbers, this would keep the channels tuned until you go back to them

I have a Furuno FS1550 marine transceiver and want to interface it to a SGC-230 / Barrett 911 autotuner. May I have the pin-outs and function of the socket marked coupler at the rear of the radio.

I have just had a quick look at the specs for both units you mention - you didn't say whether you are running a marine base station or it is on board a vessel?

In either case I would advocate keeping both units as separate as possible and using a dedicated psu for the autotuner and so only the transceiver output is the only connection you need to make to the autotuner other than connection to the antenna and to a good earth or ground plane.
I also suspect the autotuner is intended to be fitted close to the antenna as it is "fully weatherproofed"...

CANT TUNE IN

You must connect an Antenna to use the AutoTune. A set of rabit-ears is sufficient for most areas: RE: the Digital (Free) TV singals are using the old UHF/VHF frequencies - so any antenna designed for Broadcast TV should work. Connect your antenna to the ANT/Cable connection then re-run the Auto-Tune again.

I have a 42"zenith plasma tv. Been trying for hours to auto tune, none of the channels come in.

What is your input source? Is it Antenna, HDMI, Component or Composite.
The Autotune is only for Antenna input when connected to an indoor or outdoor antenna, if you are connected to a cable or satellite STB then that is what will do the tuning.

How do set TV to "over the air " or "antenna"?

Hello
Just get into its setup window. Make an autotune function to it, after connecting it to external antenna. You can get all details by its user manual.

19 in blue screen only sound works great

blue screen is the noise mute screen. however the audio is not getting muted and hence the buzzing....meaning the tuner on the TV is not getting locked on to the station/frequency

1. check your antenna if you are using one. Autotune
OR
2. Reconnect coax from the cable box to Tv and autotune.
OR
3.Use the Video out from the cable box and connect it to one of the video inputs on the TV. Switch your Tv to that component. Use the cable box to change channels (Best case scenerio)
