Remote codes for sentry rmc10 really big universal remote
This is the way to enter any device using the rmc10 really big universal control.
1. Turn the device one that you want to program. (The tv, dvd, vcr, etc.)
2. Press and hold the CODE SEARCH button until the red light remains lit.
3. Press and hold the device you want to find (example TV, VCR etc.) Release it quickly. It wil blink once.
4. Continuly press the CH+ button until the device turns off. This may take a lot of time and many clicks.
5. Once the device turns off, press the MUTE button. This stores the code.

How to remove a sylvania tv stand
From the bottom there should be a couple of screws to hold the base on. If they are not there then you need to remove the concealment panel at the base where the stand goes in. Once that is off you will see 3 or 4 screws holding it on.

37" Sylvania limited edition remote control code won't work
Some remotes will not work with some units. If the codes will not work, and the remote find function does not work, purchase a new universal remote that will take more codes for more units. They are about 25 to 150 bucks and should handle both units. Otherwise you have your excuse for a newer TV.

I have audio but no picture
Is it a PC with TV? If yes, try to download the codec software appropriate for your operating system. Let me know it is.

I have the same power supply problem on my
Hello,
You may be able to repair the board instead of buying a replacement board. If you are up to a little soldering it may save you a good bit of money for the repair. If you are interested just take a few pictures of the boards and email them to us at
[email protected] We will check them out and give you some pointers on what to do. Most power supply issues with the blinking power lights are caused by blow capacitors on the power board. These are fairly easy to replace and the replacements are less than $20 usually. To get an idea what capacitors are and what will need to be do to repair you unit check out our pages at :
http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/capacitors/ You may want to look over the repair guides for other units we have posted too. If you need parts we can also supply them for you. If you have any additional questions just contact us at:

The tv turns off by its self
A bad inverter board will produce this exact symptom. They are commonly available on EBay for about $60 USD The part number is. 1FSA10164 It should take about 20 minutes to replace without great difficulty.
If you or someone you know is good at component level PC Board repair this issue is almost always a bad transformer. All it takes is for one of the 6 transformers to have and open winding and the TV will start breifly and then shut down because it has a comparator circuit that monitors all 6 outputs to the lamps. If one of the outputs is missing the TV goes into "Protection Mode" and shuts itself down. The individual transformers can be checked by using a digital multimeter and checking resistance of the windings, should be about 2.7 MOhm, if one reads Zero Ohms, replace it. (You can check the resisitance while they are soldered to the board. Power down the set and let it sit for a bit them remove the connectors and the 6 mounting screws to pull the card.) The transformers are available for $4.95 from Electronica-usa.com the part number is LTZ2PCOMS008 (and yes the shipping costs more than the part, but still cheaper than tossing the TV)

I have a sylvania LD320SS8 32" digital/analog lcd tv witha built in dvd player
Take the Inverter Board out and check for Open windings on the 6 Transformers along the edge of the board. When you find one open, get the number off of the Transformer, Google it, buy one and replace the bad transformer. I was given one of these TV's and fixed it for $11. It's not rocket science, if you can use a DMM and a soldering Iron, you can fix this.
