Mitsubishi vs-4507r rear projection tv. It wont turn on just clicks once humms for a second and clicks again. Is this a power supply problem? Ive heard there is a keypad lock for people with kids for instance. I just got this tv for free and am wondering... #1. How do I unlock console keys without the remote? #2. how can I fix this power problem if it is not the keypad lock? Thanks. Doug

Unfortunately you will need an experienced TV tech. This unit will need 2 ICs STK392-110 for 1 has shorted and caused damage to the 2nd as a result blowing 1 or 2 pico fuses in the power supply. It is an involved job and may be somewhat costly depending on the pricing in your area. Hope this helps

The power supply will need to be changed. The capacitors inside the power supply are not sending the correct amount of power to tv and will need to be changed.
Your problem is in the power supply section,,all the solder there holding the parts is crack or loose already need to resolder so performance will back again.
This denotes a possible problem with the Low or high voltage power supplies. The clicking you here might be the shutdown circuit acting because of excessive draw of current. The problem will most likely be associated with the HV power supply, but you will have to have a qualified TV technician check your TV to make sure.
