Roper electric range non stop beeping!

I inherited a px7 electric microwave stacked oven, and on days like today I want nothing more than to just get rid of it! How do I use the self cleaning feature? The instructions seem simple enough but I just cannot get it to work.

All the fault codes I could find on Roper indicates that this is an Electronic Oven Control (EOC) failure. This is your clock assembly. Searspartsdirect.com carries the part for about $47. I think for that price, it may be worth the attempt to repair the range, vice replacing one at a cost of hundreds of dollars. Just type in your model number and you can locate the clock assembly under the "Backguard Section" heading as item number 17 (part number WB27M10). I hope this helps you.

That works, to change from military 24 hour to 12 hour format press and hold the clock button until it beeps and changes the displayed time, e.g. from 20:01 to 8:01. This worked on my Kenmore Elite Range. If you get the dreaded F1 error, you'll likely have to replace your clock timer board.

f1 code relates to a problem with the electronic oven control, no fixing the part only option is to replace it
