I have had a Mitsubishi DLP 52525 for 2+ years now and recently the green timer light started to rapidly blink when the unit was turned on and it continued to blink without the picture coming on. After discconnecting the power and then using the system reset button, the problem remained. I swapped out the lamp and the tv worked for about a day and now the same problem is occurring. I have hit the system reset button but to no avail. There is nothing in the manual that deals with what is indicated by a constant blinking green timer led. Looking for suggestions. Blinking green light. TV will not turn on. Lamp replaced approximately 2 months ago.
This is a common issue with the DM module. it's caused by bad capacitors in the DM module. Mitsubishi will tell you to replace the module which is no longer available. It is repairable it will cost you about $10 in parts, but it will take a full day to do the repair. their are 3 boards in the DM module which you will need to check all the capacitors with a ESR meter.and replace the ones that check bad.
No problem, do self diagnosis test, read threads here or goto ctechnicians.com get error codes first and get back with me.

The Lamp went out on our Mitsubishi DLP and we replaced it about 2 weeks weeks ago. T.V. was working fine and all of a sudden the timer light started blinking non-stop and we could not turn on T.V. We keep hitting reset button but it just keep flashing then it stops then it starts flashing again.
The T.V. has come on a couple of times (blue screen) but cannot get into any of the menus but then it turns off by itself after about 2 minutes then the flashing starts up again. I've called Mitsubishi (not very helpful) and they have told me to call a repair service to come and check it. I have only had the T.V. for about 2-1/2 years and did not extend the warranty and wouldn't you know it, I started having the problems right after the warranty went out.
I have been told by 2 repair techs (Television Repair Shops) that it could be the Modulator?? and that it will cost me about $1000 to repair it??
I really hope you can help.
I have the same problem with my WD-62825. I spoke with two certified Mitsubishi service centers here and they gave two different possibilities. Of course all would be fine once they did their service calls they assured me. One said it was probably a power problem and the other said the lamp needed to be replaced. The only time I get anything other than the blinking green light is when I removed the dust filter panel and the lamp cover. I would appreciate any assistance I could get.
The green light keeps blinking forever, doesn't go off at all, now what? I disconnected the power and when I connected it again the green light is blinking again and the tv will not turn on at all!!
Green light blinks on timer and the tv will not come on. Shut off power a number of times and reset unit and called Mitsubishi repairman. He told that it was a problem with some kind of a board (I couldn't understand him) and Mitsubishi does not have any because they quit making them. He said he would have to research it more but he didn't think he could help me.
I guess i'll have to throw the damn thing out and buy a new one. This unit cost me $10,000.00. Mitsubishi has a good thing going.
same problem, sears replaced 12 caps.... same blinking light, warranty co. offered $1400 and recommended trashing the set.
Same issue contact Mitsubishi but they are very slow to respond. cost to repair it will be about $800.
Steady constant. It's to the left of the power butten; it's labeled timer. I've used a pin to push in the system reset. Nothing works.
