I have had a similar problem. Turn the key and there is power, but nothing turns over. No clicking. No codes. If you wait 10 minutes you can sometimes get it started. I replaced the starter in the spring after it got really bad and that seemed to fix the problem for a few months. It's now getting worse again. If it is the starter, what can be killing them?
Test the electrical circuit using voltage drop testing . Plus look at a wiring diagram to see what all is involved for the starting system on your vehicle .

Im pretty sure it does thats where to start sometimes just turn the key to the on position for 30 sec. To 60 sec then crank the engine if that doesnt work turn off at least 10 sec try again tirn to on position without cranking motor for at least 30 sec then try cranking

the clicking your hearing is the relay trying to stay engaged, its heating up causing the relay to power down, which in turn you lose the lights, the heat is caused by the electrical current supplied to the replay, Not the outside temp , locate that relay and replace it, and your problem should be gone
