I have a vizio 70 LED tv that keeps developing a shadow on the screen. If I reset the tv to factory settings the shadow goes away but ends up returning after a short amount of time. I thought about replacing the led board but can’t find one for a LFTRREAR. All I can find is one for a LFTRREAQ. Any ideas?

It's the drum thats causing the lines to happen. Youre going to have to get that replaced before you can reset the counters.

If you get light copies, then the developer should be replaced.

I think its something on the picture frame board or on the line output board. I would sway to the line output simply because I think but not sure that error code is linked to the line output stage plus when you unplugged the cable the voltage seems within parameters. Good luck.

Most likely the YSCAN UPPER board and/or YSCAN LOWER Board also gone. Your new YSUS board may damage again if you don't replace the bad YSCAN boards. Try to replace the three boards together and then to verify which boards are bad one by one. Good luck.

SOURCE: plasma tv has no picture but green led is on

Try unplugging the TV for a few minutes (discharges the ballast/ps) then plug in and attempt to power on. I have the 42P Vizio over two years old and ran into the same problem a few times. First thought was a power supply issue, but the unplugging trick worked. Good luck.

My Vizio E320i-A0 tv, has barley any picture when i pug in and turn on, VERY faint logo on screen, How do I fix it?

The picture settings may have been set very low. You can reset to the factory default settings using the steps below. You may also try selecting different inputs to see if the brightness is the same on all of them.

1. From the Picture Settings menu, use the
Arrow buttons to highlight 'More' , then press OK.

2 . Use the Arrow buttons on the remote to highlight 'Reset Picture Mode', then press OK. The TV displays, "Are you sure
you want to RESET Picture Settings to the factory defaults?"

3 . Highlight Yes and press OK.

4 .Press the EXIT button on the remote.

How do you make the vizio tv to go to split screen

Just try a reset to this set, and check. There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
