Try replacing the power cable that goes from the wall to the machine.The type of power cable used in the MP C3000 & C4500 has a hard plastic insert where it plugs into the machine that can get damaged by impact and short out. Also try checking the wall socket to verify that it is completely plugged in.
Worse case scenario it could be an I/O board.
If you have a contract with Ricoh, I would suggest placing a service call for them to come out and look at the machine.

The first thing to try is to turn the machine off, then back on at the red "main power" switch located on the left side of the machine. If the code returns it is indicative of firmware problems or a loose connection.
At this point I would seriously recommend getting a service tech to come out. However, if you want, you can take off the back cover (MAKE SURE THE POWER CORD IS UNPLUGED) and double check all of the connections by (GENTLY) pressing them into their connections. Hope this helps. Let me know.

SC870 = Address Book Data Error. This is most likely a hard drive failure especially considering the power loss. This is about a $175 repair in case you want to call around locally and get estimates to replace the drive. There is an outside chance you can get someone to walk you thru the Service Mode and do the following to reload the address book:
1. Enter the SP mode
2. 5846-50 (Initialize All Address Book)
3. Turn the machine off then on again.
