Voice mail the notification for my voice mail keeps telling me i have a new voice mail when i dont have any how do i get ride of it?

with all the new updates it doesn't appear at the top of the screen now as an independent icon, it shows as a missed call & a voice mail in notifications, you can acces it direct from there or when u go into the phone section if you flick left to right past speed dial there is a devoted section for voice mails, that shows each 1 individually & who left it, just click on the 1 you want to play, listen & delete or keep, you no longer have to dial the voice mail.

1. Open Gmail in Chrome and sign in
2. Click the 'cog' icon in the upper-right to select'Settings'
3. Under the "General" tab find the section titled 'Desktop Notifications'
4. Click the '..enable desktop notifications...' text
5. Select one of the three options listed

• New Mail Notifications - see alerts for all messages that land in your primary inbox
• Important Mail Notifications - only see alerts for mail marked as 'important'
• Mail Notifications Off - don't show any mail alerts

When you're done scroll to the bottom of the page and hit the 'Save Changes' button.

Go to settings
scroll down to notifications
scroll down to voice mail
then turn it off
if that dont work go to setting
scroll down to app
then scroll down to notifications and turn it off

Your question is not very clear, but I believe you may have a problem with your cell phone provider. Voice mail notification are sent from the provider to your phone, so if you're not getting any notifications, then you must try to resolve it with your provider. If they can't provide a solution, maybe it's time to go to a new provider.

It sounds like you recently switched phones. Even though the phone may not have been set up with VM yet, your network is sending the VM notification to it. You should be able to "Reset Voicemail Count" however I can't tell you where to find it because I don't know the model. Please let me know if I can help more.

Two things you might try:

1. Restart your phone completely. Pull the battery out and wait a few seconds, then put it back in and power the phone back on.
2. From your home screen press "Menu", then "Settings". Then looks for "Applications", then look for the "Voice mail" application and select it. If the program is running, click "Force Stop". If it is not running, tap "Clear Cache". Then Restart phone as mentioned above.

The red light is MESSAGE WAITING. It is not necessarily VM notification. Press the MESSAGE button and look at the display. One of the soft keys will let you CLEAR the message and it will tell you where it came from. It's set by anybody calling your phone, and randomly, it is set by dialing your extension plus "4". Oops. It's a Pana mystery :-)

You received a message on the voicemail system provided by your telephone company. To hear the message, dial the voicemail number provided by your service provider (in many cases, this will be your own phone number), and follow the voice instructions for listening to your messages. You need to store the voicemail access # by pressing [MENU], [#] [3],[3],[1] on the handset. To access the voicemail, press [TALK], then softkey [VM]. Depending on your service provider, you may need to clear your voice mailbox to remove the notification.

hi try this...go to start- all programs-lexmark X8300- lexmark solution center ,
on the solution center page click on the last tab on the left hand side...u have an option for the voice notifications...

Your voice mail is probably set to send notification for the first message only. No matter how many are in there, it will only tell you once. You may be able to change the notification type, depending on your voice mail.
