Have been directed to find my Serial number for my Gateway deskto

Have been directed to find my Serial number for my desktop computer but have looked everywhere on the tower and cannot find it. I have every other number of almost every possible part but even my original papers do not have the SERIAL NUMBER!!! Please help.

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The serial number is usually located on the top, left, right, or back panel of the computer. The serial number is printer on a black sticker with white lettering.

And if you are unable to locate the serial code anywhere then right click on My computer icon on desktop, then click on properties and from there you will be able to see the serial number from there.

Go to the Gateway website and search under "Support" - Downloads. You can enter your computer details or your serial number and find drivers and manuals. The manuals should have a schematic of the motherboard that is in your computer. If you use the Serial number or production number method to search your will get the precise manual for your exact system.

I have a Gateway Laptop purchased in 2006.Serial # 0036378223. This computer warranty is expired. It has recentlty gotten dropped and damaged. I would like info on sending it in to Gateway to be fixed.
