My camera turns off right after i turn it on. it

Pls. use lithium batteries Ni-Mh or rechargeable Batteries (2000 M.Amp or higher).
Here are the steps:
1. Make sure you will install a new or fully charged battery/batteries into your camera.
2. Clean the battery contacts.
a. Remove the battery/batteries and the memory card from your camera, then wipe the battery contacts with a soft, clean cloth.
b. Reinstall the battery/batteries into your camera
3. Without the memory card, turn on your camera.

Unfortunantly KODAK do no longer repair this model. They offer a Trade up option where you for 25-30% cheaper than the listed price can exchange the camera to any newer model provided KODAK has the model in stock.

My Kodak easy share M1063 digital camera wont stay on

This problem is frequently due to corroded battery terminals inside the camera. Remove the batteries and wipe the terminals with a soft cloth (heavy corrosion may require a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue left in the camera by the cleaning. Clean the terminals on the batteries in the same manner, and then replace them in the camera. This cures most problems, but if it doesn't work for you, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/repair/troubleshooting/troubleshooting.jhtml?pq-path=6198

It uses a simple Q&A format to diagnose problems and propose solutions.

Camera will not turn on and battery is fully charged

Hi I am Vortash I know this might sound silly but check the battery is in the correct way round .. if your like me and changed the batteries to my easy share I forgot a couple of times and put them in the wrong way round ..( even we make mistakes ) reversersal of the batteries cured my problem and added to my embaressment lol .. other than that check the batteries havent leaked and if they have look in the battery compartment for signs of damage rust etc .. and if you are still using the easy share battery that came with the camera .. it might say it is charged but may not be mine was dead and wouldnt charge afyer about 6 months use .. Regards Vortash

Camera won't stay on

I may be able to help with your Kodak EasyShare Z740 that turns itself off.

It may be a 'lens extending' problem, or it might be fixed with a combination of button presses to reset it while turning it on.

Try these steps to fix your camera.

I hope that helps.
