Stripes printed on every picture

If it has a nozzle cleaning option use that.
If that doesn't work try some of that pink cleaning flush you get with refil kits on the nozzles.

What you have is a dried up color cartridge. You can try to use the <clean print heads> in the diagnostic tools section of you priner software. (usually, just try to print something & the window will appear) Sometimes you have to clean heads, then print test page like 2 or 3 times before it clears up. If that doesn't correct it, don't worry. Have your color cartridge filled (staples, office depot, & other stores do it cheap) - or - replace it with a new cartridge. You may have to run the clean print heads program after installing a new cartridge, but this will definitely fix your problem.

in colour printers tat too in canon the printer will work only if both the color and black catridges r filled with ink otherwise it wont work

Make sure the "Use Printer Offline" is not checked under the print queue.

Try deleting the printer from Windows and replug the USB causing it to reinstall.

Prints heads have to be alinged and or you let it sit too long without print and your print heads have to be cleaned
