I recently had to replace my car battery. Now my Prestige 620TX will lock and unlock my car but does not let me start my car remotely. Can I reset it myself?

Computer probably thinks someone is trying to steal your vehicle. All remote starts usually require that the door locks must be locked before the engine starts. Make sure the doors are locked before starting.
looks like it's hard to get..
why don't u try online
some websites deal in it real time.. along with solutions to problems how to repair fix service nd all
let me know if u need some help in this
If it is an add on remote starter, then you would use the factory remote to start it. If using the factory remote to start there are a couple of combinations to start it. Try lock, unlock, lock for Prestige/Pursuit models. If Directed models, try lock, lock or lock, lock, lock. If its a GM remote starter, press lock and then hold the remote starter button(circle with arrow.
I got this free Pdf manual from reliable-store for free and I don't think Ive visited a mechanic or fixya for help for more than 3-4 times out of the 20 times I fixed the chipper in these 4 years
You did not mention the year/make/model of your vehicle but, the issue appears to be the factory alarm. The installer failed to make the connection. If you intend to make the connection yourself I would need information pertaining to the vehicle. The (-) pulse before start wire for Prestige remote starters is black with a blue stripe. It is in a 4 pin connector at the module. This wire can be used to disarm the factory alarm before the remote start sequence.
there may have been a starter kill relay wired up to this when the alarm was installed, contact the busness that installed it to find out if one was put in and how to bypass it
IF RANGE IS NOT IMPORTANT I SUGGEST A AUDIOVOX AS9076N . ITS AN ADD ON REMOTE START WHERE YOU WOULD PRESS LOCK THEN UNLOCK THEN LOCK AGAIN ON YOUR FACTORY REMOTE AND THIS WOULD START THE CAR. I BELIEVE THE IGNITION KEY HAS BUILT IN KEYLESS ENTRY BUTTON ON IT ALREADY. SO WHY CARRY ANOTHER REMOTE? MOST OF AUDIOVOX MIDRANGE SYSTEMS HAVE THIS OPTION FOR ADD ON REMOTE START SYSTEMS WHERE YOU CAN USE THERE REMOTE OR TIE IT IN WITH YOUR EXSISTING REMOTE. OTHER UNITS WILL HAVE DOUBLE LOCK OPTION TO START CAR. OR TRIPLE LOCK OPERATION.
