Kodak m1073 dont open

After recharging the battery, when I try to power on the device, the easyshare splash screen appear and a green light shows on top then it suddenly change to red and flash two times then turn back to green again and the kodak shutdown. When I try to power on, the lens is not coming out as usual. Can I do something to repair it?

The problem you describe is frequently the result of dirty/corroded battery contacts in the camera. Try removing the batteries and cleaning the inside contacts with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or fine sandpaper. Remove any residue left from the cleaning, then replace the batteries. Hopefully all will be well.

If the cleaning doesn't work you might want to check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

I am trying to find the screen that shows the battery meter so I know when to recharge Kodak 1063MD

Usually, the battery icon will appear showing the battery is low on many Kodak cameras that I have used. There is no % meter that tells how much the battery is charged to my knowledge.

I have a kodak easyshare c533 camera and it won't turn on. I tried new batteries but all it does is flash the green light. Any ways to fix this?

Green light flashed, turned red, lens would not open. Put in new rechargeable batteries, still nothing. Someone here suggested to try regular AA cheapie batteries. IT WORKED!

I have a Kodak M1073 IS digital camera, it's somewhat new and all of a sudden, when i try turning it on, it'll turn on for a second, flash a yellown/green to red light and then turn off. I dont know what...

This problem is frequently due to either weak/worn out batteries or corroded battery terminals inside the camera. If charging/replacing the batteries does not clear the problem, remove the batteries and wipe the terminals with a soft cloth (heavy corrosion may require a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue left in the camera by the cleaning. Clean the terminals on the batteries in the same manner, and then replace them in the camera. This cures most problems, but if it doesn't work for you, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/repair/troubleshooting/troubleshooting.jhtml?pq-path=6198

It uses a simple Q&A format to diagnose problems and propose solutions.

Kodak m1073 is digital camera is not staying on.

I suggest you take your camera to a professional because hitting it on the table may just do more internal damage, your camera isn't plastic.

Kodak digital camera M1073 IS

First make sure that the camera has fresh or fully charged batteries installed. If a battery swap or charge doesn't cure the problem, remove the batteries and clean the battery contacts inside the camera with a soft cloth (a heavy buildup on the contacts may require cleaning with a fine wire brush, steel wool, or sandpaper). Remove any residue that the cleaning leaves in the camera, and then reinstall the batteries. This clears most power-on problems, but if yours persists, check the Kodak troubleshooting guide at:

Battery level

As Suzaku explained:
A battery icon will show up on the LCD screen of your camera when it is already low and needs recharging. It can be found at the lower right side of your LCD screen. The ready light of your camera will also blink red and your camera will turn off if the battery is exhausted.
NOTE:
The icon will not appear if the batery is sufficient and there is no TECH way of making the icon show until the batt needs charging.

Start and die

Could be time for a new camera But check out Kodak Support first. It has been said that cameras in a certain price band[any make/model] are to be considered as disposable -like toasters and kettles I guess.
