You can call shark customer service at 1-800-798-7398 or call your local vacuum repair shop. It might be cheaper to buy one used.

SOURCE: No suction - Infinity Shark Vacuum NV31C

You might try sucking the sose out with another vacum from the wrong way. You might be able to remove the hose and push a broom handle or stiff wire through. If you have compressed air available, you could try that, outside.

Im sure you have a clog and if you remove it, you will be back in business.

SOURCE: Describe your F6212-900 / F6215-900

I took out all of the screws in the housing, separated the left side from the right from the handle down. There were three screws on the underside of the upper unit. (right where the tanks sit). O those were out I could finally get to the broken hose.

SOURCE: How can I replace or repair the small hose that is split connecting the brush roll case and the vacuum itself. It does disconnect to the main body of the vacuum. can the hose be replaced?

Hi, it's Cindy from Crucial Vacuum.

The small hose on the head of the vacuum cleaner can be easily detached and replaced! It's best to remove the bottom of the hose first before removing to top. So grab onto the bottom of the hose and pull it out of it's socket. Then you have a clear view of the two tabs on the top of the hose. Push down on both sides and pull. It may require some strength to get it the tabs out from it's holder.

When replacing the part, look for part number 193FFJ. You can purchase direct from Crucial Vacuum with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

SOURCE: how to release a stuck wand in a shark dust away rotator vacuum?

very difficult
it can be done if you have access to a vice
place the smaller wand section in the jaws so that it slips easily but the larger part is stopped by the vice jaws
a sharp pull will break the seal effect and it will pop apart.
if the wand is metal you can enlarge the outer part at the joint by applying heat carefully with a gas lighter for a few seconds and pulling apart

Shark rotator will not power on

Hello, this is Ava with Think Crucial.

Your Shark vacuum is equipped with a motor protective thermostat. If for some reason your vacuum overheats, the thermostat will automatically turn the unit off. Should this occur, you would need to restart the motor thermostat. Turn off your unit and unplug the vacuum from the power. Clean the filters and dust cup filters. Check for blockages in hose, accessories and inlet openings. Then allow the unit to cool for a minimum of 45 minutes before plugging it back and turning it on.

You can purchase a wide variety of high quality Shark replacement parts for your Shark vacuum direct from Think Crucial with free shipping and an exclusive 10% coupon for Fixya.com readers, use code: FIXYA10

get an exploded parts diagram of your machine. if the hose (part) is listed separately, then a replacement should be available from the manufacturer. otherwise you may need to take the vacuum in for service from a dealer shop. More than likely, if it is NOT warranty work, it will be less expensive to replace the item.
