To all, We have a Zebra ZT410 suddenly it gave us an error PH NOT AUTHENTIC / REPLACE PRINT HEAD, INVALID PRINT HEAD It's an original print head and I just changed the media and it gave this error. By the way we have a brand new print head and its original as well and it gave the same error and I tried the print head on our printer and no error at all... Anyone could help me please? Thanks!

Hello,

Print heads for nearly all printers are rated at 2 years. You may also need to clean the tube from the resevoir at the ink supply to the cartridge and clean the working resevoir on the cartridge as well. If you are up to this challenge there is a how-to at your manufacturer's web site or you can have a tech do it. Most people, when they realize how inky you will be getting choose to have a tech do this.

It is best to use 100% denatured alcohol, from your hardware store, to clean these parts and tubing. But, you must take precautions.

DO NOT USE DENATURED ALCOHOL UNLESS YOU READ AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS ON THE BACK OF THE CAN.

I'm not kidding about the precautions. I do all this stuff outside when there is a breeze in the air and then I stay up wind of my work.

you can solve this error code by removing the purge unit (take care of the ink).
Then you have to turn upside down the unit to check the gears. There is a white gear that moves in the ''air''. you have to re adjust the gear to transfer the move normally.
Then the problem dissapears.
Also you have to check if the motor is still moving.

You may have problem with your Printhead cable or Logic, I'd start by re-seating the cable on both ends. If that does not work I'd replace the PH as it will wear out eventually anyway if it is not the problem you can keep it as a spare. The ZM600 will take both a 203 and 300 dpi Printhead make sure you get the same one you installed currently.

I have a code error c4101 in minolta 350 bizhub
Does the machine come to ready state? and if it does, does the code blow as soon as an original in placed in the df or the start button is pressed?
Make sure you have 2 ribbon cables and one connector running through back of machine from PH unit. Also make sure you have the correct ph unit installed.

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. Failed PWB-A (Mechanical CB).
Replace the PWB-A board (p/n 4040 0101 03).

2. No 24V DC at PJ17A, pin 5.
Replace the 3.15A fuse located on the power supply.

3. Polygon motor in the Print Head Assembly fails to turn.
Begin by checking the connections to the Print Head Assembly. Unplug and reseat all connections. If issue continues, replace the Print Head Assembly (p/n 4040-0751-00).

CAUSE: Failed BCRS board.

I print labels on a ZM400 zebra printer, I use Bardy software. on almost ever label there is white line that appear to be wrinkles. Never in same area.
check to see if part of a label is stuck to the print head. If not then clean the print head with alcohol. wipe it only in one direction. If this still fails then you will have to replace the head.

Hi,
It means the print head temperature is too high. The only was to resolve this error is either replace the print head or replace the logic board. The print head is available, part number QY6-0061 but you will struggle to find a logic board. The only other thing you can try is resetting the EEPROM on the logic board, this sometimes clears the error. How many labels has the printer printed? Because it sounds to me like you just need to replace the print head.

They are around $400 from whomever your supplier is, and very easy to replace.
