If the tv doesn't have a digital tuner you have to hook it up to cable or use a digital converter box and set the tv to channel 3 in order to get a program. If the set does have a digital tuner hook it to cable or antenna and auto search for channels.Good luck, Russmann.

More than likely some electrolytic capacitors have failed. They can be spotted by looking at the tops of them. If they are flat...ok if domed... bad.
