You want to open physically or open it virtually? physically you open your computer case and locate hard drive at hard drive bay. to open virtually you need to locate my computer and open it from there.
Removing the hard drive from an Acer Aspire notebook just takes a few minutes. here is how:
>
? Turn the Acer Aspireoff. Unplug all cables attached to the system and turn it face-down. Remove thebattery.
? Remove the screws holding down the hard driveaccess cover and pull the cover away. The location of this cover varies frommodel to model, but it is readily visible on the back of the computer. SomeAcer Aspires' hard drive bay covers have only one screw; others have two.
? Grab the hard drive andpull it out at an angle. On most systems you need to push the drive to the lefta little bit and then pull up. Handle the hard drive from its sides.
? Replace the hard drivecover and screws. Put the battery back in and return all cables to theiroriginal location.
The hard drive is usually located under a recess plate on the base of the laptop. If you locate the battery on the underside, the hard drive cover is next to it and is held on with just two screws. Hope this helps.
hi if you look under the laptop you will see some panels with screws in, one has the wifi card , the other memory, and a big one that will have the hard drive under it, just unscrew it lift it off, locate the 2 screws for the hard drive and push it to the right to release it from the port, then lift out, remove the hard drive from its casing screws on the side, put your new hard drive in, and you are done...hope this helps
every laptop hard drive is located at the bottom of the laptop, just read the laptop manual either on your computer or the paper version and it should show you the exact spot of the hard drive. otherwise visit ACER at
hello, the hard drive is located at the back of the system. you will locate some screws at the back panel, unloose the screws and pull out the cover.you will see a the hard disk
Before you do any of this make sure your notebook is unplugged and the battery is removed.
The hard drive bay is on the bottom of the notebook, there are 2
panels on the bottom of your notebook. The smaller panel, near the front of the notebook there
should be a "rubber square" on the top of the panel, is where the hard
drive is located, unscrew that panel and remove it then you will be
able to remove the hard drive.
