Had the same problem. Mine the cd drive got out of alignment. Sorry to say the fix is to have it replaced. BOSE will do this for about $150. Typically this includes the one year service agreement, a full system "tune up" and a one year warrenty.

Call BOSE and they will take care of you.

I have a bose wave radio cd. the cd spins but won't start playing.

Install the disc cleaner cleaning kit you bought from Wal-Mart so that the heads are cleaned of dirt and debris. Now try to play a disc. Also, check that the disc is not heavily scratched or got grime on it. You going to have to go have the disc re-surfaced and cleaned so it will play again.

If none of the above work, then you have to call Bose factory service and have them look into it if your within warranty. Otherwise, you gonna have to open this thing up and replace that failing optical drive or check for a loose power cable that connects to the optical drive.

My Bose Wave radio/cd won`t play cd`s anymore. The radio works great. The cd player worked tonite, the would stick in a certain part of a song. Very intermittent. Now tries to read the disc, then says disc...

"I`ve used an aerosol air can to clean thru the cd slot"What type? not an "empty" can of paint, hairspray, chemical of some sort i hope. Compressed air at most I hope. If not, that's your Bose out the window!
The lense sounds like it needs a clean, you can buy these in disc for with tiny brushes on. Made by BIB and Allsop amongst many brands

Recorded audio CD will not play

Most likely the recorded format is wrong and that is the cause.

I have a Bose acoustic wave muti-disc changer.i have 5 disk in changer,i cannot eject any disk,& it looks like its hung up on # 5.non of the disk will play. Thank You-

I called Bose service. Jason said to unplug for 1minute then plug back in. If the changer does not reboot and operate properly....you call Bose service. They will exchange your cd changer for a new one.
$75 plus tax and return your cd's to you. They will give instructions for the exchange when you call.

Bose Wave Radio w/single CD player on top

My Bose Wave Radio/CD developed this problem about a year ago. I don't use the CD player much and kept the unit clean. The disc spins but, the system does not read it. Cleaning the lens with cotton did not help.

Read that Bose charges $75 to fix this problem.

CD Player doesn't work; says "disc"

i would say that your lense is dirty and yes cleaning it might help

Wave CD changer

Could try a CD lens cleaner disc, but this will just as likely get stuck inside. Far better to contact Bose for a repair - sounds like a problem in the changer mechanism
