SOURCE: fridge too warm

first, verify that the fan is running in the freezer compartment. second check that there is no airflow blockage between freezer compartment and refrigerator compartment. if that does'nt solve the issue verify the defrost system is working.

SOURCE: Superba fridge 1992 occasonal water under bottom freezer drawer

you have a frozen defrost drain. in order to fix this you will need to remove all shelves and basket out of the freezer. then remove rear evap cover. one youve gained access to this area you will see at the bottom of the coil an aluminum pan that most likely wil be iced over. clear away this ice then try to flush out the drain line with warm water. sometimes its neccessary to force water into drain line with a large syringe or turkey baster. this should fix ya up.
good luck and thx for using fixya Peyton

SOURCE: Fridge Condensation

Check the seal of the rubber gasket, if there are improper seal of the magnet, pour hot water along it to soften the rubber. (be careful when handling hot water). When the rubber is soften, try to stretch it a little by pulling it. close the door and the magnet will keep the seal in place.

SOURCE: water leaking from door

your drain is clogged. if ice isbuilt up in the freezeer floor. when the freezer defrosts and the drain is clogged it has no where else to go other than ouot the front. pull everything out of the freezer and check twards the rear at the bottom. remove as much ice as possibile let set unplugged and door open for 3 hours. then take a cup of boiling water and pour it back there. if it dont drain repeat that process with the water-have a towel ready because if the water stays back there long enough it will get cold. you need to keep the water HOT. ice could be built up in the drain. hope this helps

Why does my freezer keep freezing up then leak all over the floor

Hallo

1:Check your door seals(damage door seals causes fridge to suck humidity into the fridge causing it to ice up to much and then the pan type humidifier at the back of the bottom of the fridge can evaporate the water fast enough causing an over flow).
2:If door seals aren't damage I would say at this moment its cold where you live and it would also cause high humidity and there for your thermostat should be set to min:2 and max:3 your choice and try to prevent opening the door to much or keeping it open for 2 long.
3:Ievel the fridge ensure that its level.
4:If the problem still occur let me know.

Water collecting and freezing behind vegetable drawer left side of GBSCOHCXFRWW

blocked drain.
pull the fridge out and look at the back. somewhere (unless it has cover panel) you should see a small hose. this is the drain tube. blow through this and you will most likely feel it clear out a bit. then open the fridge. good chance there could be a bit of a mess to clean up

Freezer not freezing

Red light on for High Freezer Temperature Warning
or freezer not cooling, but fridge is and a lot of noise from compressor.
Also, fridge drain hole blocked, water in bottom of fridge.

This is a common fault in Hotpoint Fridge Freezers and can also happen if the door has been left open or has been a power cut.

1. Turn off fridge freezer, or at least turn down the freezer temp to minimum, though not ideal.
2. Open freezer door and remove all drawers.
3. Remove the back panel on the inside of the freezer. This is held in place with 4 screws, which might be 6mm hex head or star allen head. Pull the panel out.
4. Behind where the panel was, there is a cooling element for cooling, pipes, and below this a temperature sensor. If the fridge freezer is not switched off, then fold together a few layers of tinfoil and wrap around the sensor.
5. Use a hairdryer to slowly melt the ice. Melt it around areas where it appears to be hanging on, such as the corners of the cooling element or bolts, as well as any thin sections below the main block of ice around the cooling element, which will be supporting the main block. Use a plastic ice scraper to remove ice but not near pipes or sensor.
Warning: Be careful using electrics around water & melting ice & drips.
6. Below the cooling element, there is a drip channel & drain hole. If this hole is full of ice, pour a small amound of warm water down, leave for 10 seconds and pour a bit more until clear.
In the fridge, clear the drain hole in the same way.
Warning: Do not pour a lot of water down, as this water drains onto a tray above the hot compressor at the rear of the fridge freezer to be evaporated by the heat of the compressor and the tray will only hold a small amount.
7. When all ice is removed, dry all moisture. Put the shelves back. Close door. Turn on fridge freezer. Turn up the freezer temperature to your normal setting. Turn on fast freeze if available. After 1 hour, check with a thermometer. It should be cold enough after 1 or 2 hours.

My freezer is making ice at the bottem

I had this problem. The cause is water generated during defrost cycle that cannot drain into pan in back of fridge due to a plugged drain pipe. Ice builds up into a dam, and the water has no where to go except to bottom of freezer housing. Eventually this builds up with ice and runs out the bottom seal. Solution requires 2 things. First is empty fridge and freezer and disassemble freezer to expose frozen over evap coil. Melt this ice with hair dryer, lots of towels and patience. Then clean up drain pipe which is accessible from rear of unit after removing metal cover. The plastic pipe has a small black cap with a hole in it that is designed to let water flow out but keep spiders and such from getting in. On my unit this cap had sticky greasy deposits in it, was a bit stiff. I cleaned it thouroughly with mineral spirits, reinstalled and all is now a okay. Hope that helps.
