My Dell 3110cn shows 003-343 restart printer - contact support - after I changed one color. What can I do?

This could be fold back where the page being printed is wider then the printers set up page. Make sure print to fit page is selected.

Either the paper is just too thick for the printer to fuse the toner correctly, or you've NOT selected the right paper type (in the printer driver options.

If you're just printing that same as you would on ordinary A4 paper, the fuser can't get enough heat through the thick paper to fuse the toner.

May be a wrong toner problem if you've done this successfully before, but only had this problem since changing toner cartridge(s)

What a riduculously useless website

There's a setting in the driver that makes it print black (OK - grey scale) only.

Try that.

Could be

Bad chip on the cartridge

Some toner on chip contacts

Chip NOT been replaced (if its an remanufactured cartridge)

Just remove the color cartridge and restart the printer.

Unfortunately not. Dell has put safely mechanisms in place to not allow the printer to function without full cartridges.

- Turn off the printer first
- Remove the power supply and pressed the power button for 15 seconds
- Clear info out of the printer
- then plug the power back in and press the power button.
