Lever of Brew group of Saeco coffee machine stuck.

During cleaning saeco HD 8763 I stopped process to empty tray of water, when pushing tray back in the lever in front of brew group had moved forward and blocked the tray to be inserted fully. Cannot push lever down nor take brew group out and of course the cleaning process has also come to halt in that I cannot push tray in completely to establish all necessary electrical contacts. I hope you can give advice how to get things going again. Thank you.

Saeco Vienna deluxe leaks from above door panel

If your Saeco Vienna Deluxe espresso machine is experiencing leaks from above the door panel during coffee brewing, even after cleaning and descaling, there could be a few potential causes for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and address the problem:
  1. Check Brew Group Seals: The brew group is a critical part of the espresso machine. If the seals or gaskets on the brew group are worn or damaged, they could allow water to leak out during brewing. Inspect the brew group and its components for any visible signs of wear or damage. If necessary, replace the seals or gaskets.
  2. Check Door Seal: The door seal or gasket that creates a seal between the door and the machine's interior could be compromised. Inspect the door seal for any visible defects, cracks, or damage. If the seal is not making proper contact, it could lead to leaks. Replace the door seal if needed.
  3. Overflowing Drip Tray: Ensure that the drip tray and the drip tray float are functioning properly. If the drip tray is full or the float is stuck, it could lead to water overflowing from above the door panel. Empty the drip tray and ensure that the float moves freely.
  4. Brew Unit Alignment: Make sure the brew unit is properly aligned and inserted into the machine. If it's not properly seated, it can cause water to leak during brewing. Remove the brew unit and reinsert it, ensuring that it clicks into place securely.
  5. Clogged Drainage Channels: Check for any clogs or blockages in the drainage channels or tubes inside the machine. If water is not properly draining, it can result in leaks. Clean out any debris or buildup that you find.
  6. Water Tank Seating: Ensure that the water tank is properly seated and securely in place. If it's not properly positioned, it can lead to water leaks.
  7. Internal Hoses and Connections: Inspect the internal hoses and connections for any signs of leaks or loose connections. Tighten any fittings if necessary.
  8. Professional Service: If the issue persists after checking and addressing the above potential causes, it may be best to seek the assistance of a professional technician or service center that specializes in Saeco espresso machines. They can diagnose and repair more complex issues that might be causing the leaks.

Red light won't stop flashing. Parts are in place

Be sure all coffee grounds are cleaned from beneath the water tray and the grounds tray and the coffee brew group. We had the same problem but finally redid everything, including cleaning the coffee brew group under hot water, drying and replacing carefully until it clicked in place. The moving parts of brew group have to be in exactly the right place. Good luck!

Hello, I have a Saeco Royal Digital Plus. I have a problem with water getting into the little tray under the brew. (Normally there will be little coffee residue in the tray). While doing the thin coffee....

This a normal operation. As much fine is the coffee grinding is set then the water make it more difficult to pass through and when the coffee process finish the water remains in the piping sytem after pressure lelease in the try under brew group. All you need to take care is that the grinding is not adjusted too fine thus runnig very slow and coffee will be burned and become bitter. Also you need to remove the brew group very often and clean it with warm water and every month remove the st. steel filter from brew and clean it so all holes are open from dry coffee. You can also use the special coffee cleaning tablets to perform a cleaning proccess so the machine remains in good shape. You can find all these informations, parts and others about your machine at the http://www.partsguru.com/SaecoRoyalDigital.html

Saeco Odea Giro - Clogged and coffee come out in water tray....

This has happened to our machine that we use for our youth group. We sent it in and they said it was clogged also. Not having a clue what they meant. It happened again and I figured it out. When you remove the brew group there is a hole just above it that dispenses into the brew group. Make sure it is not clogged. Give it a try Good Luck

Leak

if you clean your brew unit and coffee lines infrequently you're coffee may taste differently when you do get around to cleaning them.

If you are not happy with the taste, I would receommend the following steps
1. A Good Descale (See our article here for on Descaling your Coffee Machine for details) - This will remove excess mineral build up.
2. Try a Saeco Cleaning Tablet in your brew unit - this will remove excess organic build up (Coffee and Grease)
3. Use only filtered water
4. Rinse your brew unit every time you empty your coffee dreg drawer

That should bring your machine back to optimal coffee making condition. If you are still not happy, try some different coffee blends for a while - a change can be as good as a holiday

Saeco Incanto Classic Espresso Machine Question

ok. Sometimes saeco has this problem and it can be a pain.
try unplugging it and plug it back in and turn it on with the door shut and all trays in position.
Sometimes it unlodges itself.
If this truely does not work :
remove dreg tray and push the brew group with the button (lever) pushed to the right inward. And now with the lever to the right still start wiggling while pulling outward. It can take a little but this should work. Don't be afraid to put a little force into it.
Check this SAECO or SAECO MANUAL
Let me know how you made out

Coffee has stopped dispensing

Looks like your machine is leaking internally and rather than the water come out of where it is supposed to, it is leaking inside.
