Model Jvm1330bw002. Why does it do nothing when cooking time is set?

The fuse is internal. Unplug microwave and ope. Casing. Fuse is in the back. Make sure tools used are insulated and touch nothing other than the fuse.

it has a fuse located behind the main control panel. you will see it after you remove the cover

has an internal fuse. but you need to find out why it has blown, has it been making any funny sounds while cooking. ??

I'll presume you can program it ( set the length of time you want to cook)
Does the timer count down?
Does the turntable ( if you have one) turn?
If everything else seems to work properly and it just doesn't cook more then likely the magnetron is bad

there is a fuse, but if this was blown nothing would work, sounds like a capacitor on the control board,just replace the board

Many of these ovens have either a humidity sensor or oven cavity sensor that will shut the oven down if the internal oven cavity humidity or temperature exceed a certain level. Baked potatoes are often a culprit as they retain a good amount of heat and generate humidity when they cook. In most cases, allowing the oven to cool down with the door open for about half an hour will restore operation.

However, there is also a thermal cut-out (TCO) on some models that will trip if the internal temperature of the oven cavity gets too hot. If the TCO trips, it must be replaced.

Since you posted no Brand Name of Model Number, I do not know how your oven is configured. If you post back with this information, I can verify and may be able to diagnose a cause of your problem.

Try to unplug your microwave then leave it for 1 hour the purpose is to reset and drain stored current after 1 hour plug it again ,if still notworking there something wrong inside. Usually, when your microwave oven doesn't work it all, the internal fuse (thermal fuse) is blown. This fuse protects both you and the oven. When it blows,you need to replaced it or you need to have a qualified appliance repair technician replace it.

I think it may be an internal fuse or a fusible link. You also have a series of contacts and switches inside that are set in place by the mfr. for safety. You could get it repaired for 50-75 dollars or a new one for 125-150 dollars. If you have checked the internal fuse, then just get a new one if the other one is older than 3-4 years.
