https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/481946/recovery-error-code-0xc0000034HDD boot files dead , corrupted or missing.
we test the HDD first, do the smart tests if those fail the HDD is bad and there is no recovery on HDD that is dead.
OK, learn to do tests, and in the right order or long wasted labor.
others do the hope this works thing.
skipping step one test HDD

bad hdd have corrupted OS, and corrupted everything. and if true, is DOOMED.
new HDD if bad and new OS fresh installed. if HDD is bad.
fixing this is based on pure logic even computer logic.
1: back up you data first, ( ask how ? a is x10 more difficult task on a dead PC, but do ask and is whole other long post. or lean to google, "how to backup data on dead PC"
2: then run the full Smart tests in the HDD>
if this fails your HDD is bad. a FACT.
I use my Linux demo disk to test the HDD, ask how.
buy a new hdd , put it in.
3: we then get unstated windows recovery media.
and do a fresh windows install
there are the steps, any shop or tech does.
besides the BCD repair steps seen in first link.
I have got it to. Used alt/F10at strtup and reboot Win 8
