My usb overheated and now wont light up and let me see my files

This is WORKED FOR ME!--->I turned off my computer than unplugged cable and took out battery, held down power button for 1-2mins and than put everything back in (battery and charger) and tried to start it...the screen was still black. I than turned it off again, than pressed ESC, while holding down ESC I pressed and held power button until it briefly turned on and back off. Than I let go of both the buttons and pressed power back on and VOILA the screen came back on. Make sure your charger isn't loose, and than you're aren't surging too much power through the outlets-sometimes these can make the screen black too.
Hope this helps others out there, I have an old Toshiba Satellite running on Windows Vista

Why won't wireless mic turn on the "Ready" light on receiver?

Make certain the mic and the receiver are in the same exact frequency band. There are stickers on both products that list the frequency band.

Why won't wireless mic turn on the "Ready" light on receiver?

The handheld is in a different frequency band than the receiver. There are stickers on both that saw what frequency range they can tune to.

Dont know what size battery to use for a nady ht-3 mic transmitte

Hi, nady ht-3 mic transmitter uses a 9 volt battery ..coolken_15.jpg

To insert the battery, You will need to unscrew the below button part of the hand held mic (anti-clockwise), and after unscrewing, you will see the space to fix in the 9 volt battery..

When you buy the battery, before fixing the battery in, check the polarity before placing the battery in (positive + and negetive -)...After inserting, screw back the cover in and locate where the power switch is..It always has an indicator to know if the power is on...

Note..make sure the Transmitter is on for it to be able to work properly with the hand held microphone....

Good luck..

Dell latitude 100L power light flashes green as if

It sounds like you have a bad AC adapter . When you plug it in to the outlet in the wall and into your computer , do you see a charge indicator light on the computer? I'm asking you this because even with a bad battery your computer should operate without any problems with the AC adapter plugged in.

Mic not working

On some mics, one of the lights will NOT turn on unless the battery is low. The mic is the transmitter, so I am not sure what you mean by it not lighting, but the transmitter is lighting?

Make sure the mic's freq. is within the scanned range of the receivers. Often the mics get mixed with other receivers and the resulting pair are incompatible.

The receiver should show if signal is being received. If it is, then the module in the microphone dynamic cartridge MIGHT have been damaged. If it is damaged, it has to be replaced.

I have lost manufacturers manual on my BMW 325ci 2001 model. i only require pages relating to the programing of automatic garage door thank you

NOTE: Some vehicles may require the ignition to be turned on or to the second (or"accessory") position for programming and/or operation of HomeLink. It is also recommended that a new battery be replaced in the hand held transmitter of the device being programmed to HomeLink for quicker training and accurate transmission of the radio frequency. Please use a ladder and do not stand on your vehicle during the programming steps for a rolling code opener.

Rolling Code Programming:
1. Press and hold the two outer HomeLink buttons until the indicator light begins to flash (after 20 seconds). Do not hold for longer than 30 seconds. Do not repeat this step to program additional HomeLink buttons.

2. Place the hand-held remote 1-3 inches from the HomeLink button you want to program.

3. Simultaneously, press and hold both the HomeLink and hand-held remote buttons. Do not release either button until step 4 has been completed. (If you reside in Canada, refer to the "NOTE" below.)

4. When the indicator light changes from a slow blink to a rapid flash, release both buttons.

5. At the garage door opener receiver (motorhead unit) in the garage, locate the"learn" or "smart" button (usually near where the hanging antenna wire is attached).

6. Press and release this "learn" or "smart" button. (The name of these buttons vary by manufacturer.) There are 30 seconds in which to initiate step 7.

7. Firmly press, hold for two seconds, and release the programmed HomeLink button. Do this procedure again and, depending on the make of your garage door opener, do this procedure a third time to complete the procedure.

The garage should now activate when the programmed HomeLink button is firmly pressed and released. If not, give us a call or refer to the "Troubleshooting Tips" noted below. NOTE: If you reside in Canada, replace step three with the following: Press and hold the desired HomeLink button and "cycle" the hand-held remote. To cycle: Press and release the hand-held remote button every two seconds until the indicator light changes from a slow blink to a rapid flash(step four).

Troubleshooting Tips:

** Check the frequency of the garage door opener's hand-held remote (usually found on the back). HomeLink is compatible with radio-frequency devices operating between 288-399 Mhz.

** Put a brand new, store bought battery in the hand held remote. During the programming process (step three above) the battery's energy tends to drain (more so with an older battery). A new battery will increase the speed and accuracy in which the hand-held remote sends its signal to HomeLink.

** Retrain HomeLink holding the hand-held remote at different lengths and angles from the HomeLink button you are trying to program (during programming step three). Try 4-6 inches away at a different angle.

** Confirm that the HomeLink button you are trying to program is in the "programming mode". Press and hold the desired button. The indicator light will be a slow blink when HomeLink is in the "programming" mode and can be programmed at any time.

Verifying HomeLink has picked up a rolling code signal:

** Press and hold the programmed HomeLink button. If the indicator light blinks rapidly for two seconds and turns solid, HomeLink has successfully picked up the rolling code signal. If necessary, proceed with steps 5-7 noted above to complete the rolling code programming.

Extremely weak RF from AKG WMS 60 Hand Held Mic

I don't know what you've tried already to improve the signal level, so i'll list a few things that migt help.

It might help to put new batteries in (with the right voltage) You probably did that already.

There is a GAIN pot on the mic, in the battery compartment under the ring that is screwed onto the mic. When you adjust the GAIN, there will probably be better SN-ratio, but it does'nt change the RF signal

You could also adjust the antennas of the receiver, or try to set a different frequency (depends on which country you live in, in some countries it is illegal to change frequencies) or turn off the SQUELCH on the receiver

If this does'nt help, you could look for a user manual and try to find a solution in it.

There are some other solutions to improve RF signal, but those are quite expensive.

Should the light come on!?

Hi timtak

The light should come on momentarily when you turn the mic on, and then go out. If it remains dimly lit, or does not come on at all, then the battery needs to be replaced. The way the light responds is supposed to indicate the condition of the battery for you, unless it is so depleted that there is not enough juice left to light the LED. You can read up about this in the user manual here if you want:) A FixYa is a great reward for sorting this out for yah. Cheers
