Shuttle no longer provides the manual on their web site for MK32 model. The model MK32N is listed but there isn't a manual. You can download the specification from Shuttls web site;

From waht I can find this is a VIA P4M266A. If that is not it, list the part number on the mother board.

You can download most of the drivers in the VIA Hyperion Pro Driver Package.

Let me know, what drivers you are missing after this install.

Verify that there is nothing clamped between the platen and the shuttle.

Last time I had this fault, it turned out to be a broken wire in the harness that connects the CMX board to the shuttle module.

Other possibilities include a failed shuttle or CMX board.

well actually this means a new motherboard, however you can purchase a sound card and install it. the card is a few $$ but a lot cheaper than a main board.

another is that ur motherboard is too old so @ dat dayz maybe they were not beng too advance to make manuals though!

I admit this one was a zinger... It was very difficult to track down the information you need as Shuttle has discontinued active support for that motherboard on its websites (all of them it seems).

I did find a site in Germany that had a link for the manual in PDF format but the link was dead, so I fired off an email to Shuttle and happily was told that all you need to do is send an email to

[email protected]

Explaining that you own the AE22 and that you need the manual in PDF format emailed to you. They will forward that on to the person who handles that and you should have your manual in a day or so!
