Dishwasher er error code
I have a similar problem with my Frigidaire FDB4050LHS1. My Owner's Manual says to contact the Customer Care Center if the display shows "Er", "uF", or "CE". When I called them, Maria didn't have a clue what the codes meant - all she could do was give me phone numbers to authorized service centers in my area.
I managed to get ahold of a "SERVICE DATASHEET" P/N: 154718601. The error code "ER/ER" means there is a "switch failure"; "ER/CE" denotes a "Configuration Error"; "ER/uo" means "Vent will not close"; and "ER/UF" means "Fan not running".
The schematic only labels three switches - labeled "USER INTERFACE SWITCH", "DOOR SWITCH", and "FLOAT SWITCH". There is also a switch in the pump motor assembly. If either the door or user interface switch is faulty, then you probably won't be able to do anything other than call a repair service - unless you know how to replace these switches yourself.
If the float switch is causing the error, you might be able to run the "Water/Service Test". From "PF" (denoting a Power Failure) or idle mode (with no lights on whatsoever), press and hold the "DRY/AIRDRY" and "START/CANCEL" buttons at the same time for 3 seconds. This will start an 8-stage test that runs for about 7 and 1/2 minutes. The display will show which step the test is in until it shows an error code. Step 1 tests the water valve, which is where the float switch is located. If that switch is bad, you will likely see "Uo" displayed within the first minute of the test.
