Tried everthing and cant rember password
James, if you don't know your password, or it isnt' taking it, you will have to removed the CMOS battery. This looks like a watch battery. Remove the screws from the bottom of the case and then lift up and remove cover. Carefully remove the hard drive and memory modules by spreading the latches on the side and gently unseating the memory. Place the components on an anti-static sheet. Turn the computer over and remove the keyboard from your system. Remove the small, round CMOS battery from the motherboard. Leave it out for 60 seconds and then put it back in. Reassemble.

Can you tell me at what point it is asking for this information? What does the screen look like. A picture of the screen would help. When did it start doing this?

Also, please confirm what the 76812339 number is. Is this a message it is giving back to you? Do you remember if your old password was a series of letters, numbers, or mixed?
