Why my Advent CPU (model DT2410) switches on and off in every 20 seconds?
While I switch on the CPU, it goes to sleep mode in 20 sec by itself and it tries to switch on again by itself. It keeps doing the same and I never get it on to work.
I think u did not get my problem......try to understand my cpu problem, my monitor is ok....there is nothing problem.I think u did not get my problem......try to understand my cpu problem, my monitor is ok....there is nothing problem.

In most cases when the microwave stops @ 23 seconds it's the Magnetron which has failed, and is shorting to earth.
Either that or the magnetron isn't getting the right signal from the inverter board. It gives it 20 seconds to get the right signal or it shuts itself off.
There is an option called wake-on-LAN that will wake up your PC if some traffic comes into it from the ethernet. You will want to disable that feature.
You might find it under setup when you boot you computer, or you might also find it under control panel / power.
Instead of sleep mode, tyr hibernate. It is generally faster except the whole computer shuts down. When you power back up, you're exactly where you were. Mine takes about 30 seconds.
i had prob where my sony would switch off for a few secs thenh come back on . The solution was in menu / tv settings / sleep timer . Go into that and make sure its set to off. there are opions for off , 5 min 20 min 30 min etc... mine was set to nothing just blank.
I'm having the same problem? Did you work it out?
