I am turning on my navigon 20 easy, battery fully charged, the screen comes up but the double arrow is not turning around as it should, on the top left it shows BL:0.10 OS:1.41 and everything is frozen. Even using the reset button does not help. Any suggestions please???

I held the power switch to the off position for about 10 seconds then let it go and it worked.

2 things that might help...use a paperclip and press the reset button (small hole on side, you'll feel a click) hold it for 5 seconds. THEN hold down the power on button for over 10 secs (keep holding while it shows version number) and it will perform a factory reset. You will likely lose any settings and addresses, but better that than no GPS unit.

Well after many emails to Navigon I got the fix for my 2000s What you have to do is download the 1.2 version software for the 5100 install it on a 2GB micro SD Card. Put it in the slot and turn it on. You will have to regester as if you have a 5100 but it will work. The reason you have to use a 2GB card is the maps are to large to go on the internal memory.

Take out the SD card, if that dosent work Ty plugging it into a
computer sometimes that will reset it. I believe it is a problem with
the maps when i got the updated second quarter maps it quite doing it.
