No service manual, but you should check the fuel filter, air filter, and muffler for plugging. Check the condition of all of the fuel lines looking for decay or other damage. Chances are that the jet screws are 'D' headed and can't be adjusted by the owner, only an authorized service shop has the necessary screwdriver. Be sure to have fresh fuel mix in the tank and be sure to shake the fuel can just before filling each time to prevent oil starvation. Don't make up more than a gallon at a time unless sawing is your business. Hope this helps!
Amazingly I read the owner's manual online and there is no mention of what type oil to use. However, this is a chain saw, albeit and electric chain saw. Therefore it is reasonable to assume that you would use bar oil which you can purchase anyplace that sells chain saws. Just ask for chainsaw bar oil. If you want to clarify this call 1-800-858-8501.
Fill oil tank with SAE #30 motor oil. Note: For temperatures below 30°F, use SAE #10 oil. For temperatures above 75°F, use SAE #40 oil.
Replace oil cap at once. Tighten oil cap firmly for good seal. This will avoid oil seepage from tank.
Wipe off excess oil.
Note: It is normal for oil to seep when saw is not in use. Empty oil tank after each use to prevent seepage. Like so much of what MrFixIt posts his opinion is based on BS. He can never take the time needed to provide any answer that actually requires thought or research!!! Use bar oil available at any home center or hardware.
