You need to divert the calls.

Phone is not ringing

Please try the following troubleshooting tips:

Ensure that you phone is on and that there is sufficient signal strength.
- Signal strength is indicated by the signal indicators at the left side of the phone's display,
- These indicators move up as the strength of the signal increases and down as the signal decreases.
- To increase your phone's signal strength, try moving your phone slightly, or move towards a window if you're calling from inside a building.
For some phone models, if there is a headset attached to the phone, it will not ring through the speaker, only through the headset. Detach the headset and retest the phone to determine if that resolves the issue.
If the phone's profile is set as "Silent", "Flight", "Online", or any other profile where ringing is silenced, it will not ring. Change the profile to the "General" or "Normal" profile and retest. Instructions for checking and changing your profile are included in your user guide.
Ensure that a ring tone has been enabled and the volume is not too low. Instructions for adjusting volume and selecting a ring tone are included in your user guide.
If call divert is activated, your calls may be going straight to voice mail without your phone ringing. Instructions for activating and inactivating call divert are included in your user guide. For assistance with voice mail, please contact your operator or service provider.

DND on Nec phone not working. I still get the calls in

Likely the button your pushing is just a speeddial button with the DND code, which somehow has been erased. Don't know which of the 12 or more NEC systems u have, but someone should have the user guide to reprogram.

When this is required between 2 Internal Users and 1 External User, follow the Instructions for a 3 way Conference Call.
See Section 3.5.4 on Page 16 of the User Manual.

How do you get a Vodavi xts phone to ring for an outside line

You're probably looking in the EXTENSION USER'S GUIDE. The sytsem installation/programming manual has the proper FLASH codes and programming access to make it work.

As far as the random calling, try changing phones with another and see if the problem stays with the set or the location. If it's set, you have a bad one, if location, I'd be looking at a wiring error.

All of my external calls go straight to VM!

sounds like you are call forwarded. But to know this you should plug in a phone that has a display. Also it depends on your system, being a 3XXX series phone you most likely have a CTX and the call forwarding codes can be found here

Take out the user guide and see if the settings for these two units have not been changed. In the guide you will find how to set the ringer on these two units.

You should be able to download the User Guide to any phone from the LG website. Just make sure you choose the LG USA site. If it is not listed there as LG KP500 try looking for the LG Cookie.

It's a system programming option (via Feature ** CONFIG ) - the lines have to be set to "appear and ring" on that set. Not user set table.

SOURCE: Incoming calls ring on intercom rather than appropriate line.

Somehow you might have taken the lines off the extension. I would double check that under line appearance, that extension is set to "appear and ring" for each line.

The lines must be programmed to Appear Only instead of Appear and Ring.
This is done under Config/Sets/LineAccess/LineAssignment.

If unsure of Config password, programming navigation then call in a tech/vendor....1 hour min service call unlell your vendor has remote access via RAD or IRAD.
