Need to know what cable you are asking about. Is it the starting cord for pull starting the engine or one of the auger or drive control cables ??
Can you post a picture ??

SOURCE: Craftmans Snow Thrower 247887001 Tire Flat. How to Refill.

The tires are probably tubeless type. If the bead is broken ( not sealed to the rim) the tire will not inflate. Taking the weight off the tire will some times allow the bead to seal against the rim and allow tire to be inflated. You can also put a small ratchet strap around the tread of the tire and tighten it up. This will squash the tire and make the bead seal up. MAKE SURE to loosen strap as soon as bead seals and tire begins to inflate. Hope this helps.

Toro Snow thrower 38588 Starts but will not move forward

Hi Jacquelin-
I found this link.
https://www.manualslib.com/manual/772531/Toro-38588.html?page=16#manual

On page 15-16, it talks about the "Replacing the Drive Belt". This might be the problem.

Hope this helps.

Snow throwers

Just returned from the parts store, they had sold out of drive belts for the auger drive on snow throwers... figured I could help out here;

Wet snow is heavy, duh right? Before you run your snow thrower disconnect the spark plug, for safety. Check the chute, and sand any loose paint rust etc. you want a smooth chute.. paint if needed, let dry 24 hours before use, spray with silicon lube spray, this will loessen the stress on your auger belt and hopefully keep your machine running all season. Good luck!

I JUST PURCHASED A SINGLE STAGE SNOW THROWER FROM LOWES. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SINGLE STAGE VS A DUAL OR MULTI STAGE SNOW THROWER THANKS DON [email protected]

a single is just that a single auger that scoops snow and shoots it out chute their a smaller unit --a dual front auger scoops snow into another auger which shoots the snow through the chute the duals are bigger and they move more and heavier snow

How do I remove the impeller from a 800 Gilson snow thrower

you have to remove the chute, then the auger bearings and any gearbox stabilizers. remove belt now turn auger while watching through chute hole until you see roll pins through your shaft. knock these pins through ( usually 2) then you can remove the whole auger assembly which reveals your impeller

30 in. craftsman snow thrower, model no. 247.883960,pulls to the right

If your blower uses the two wheels to drive which I think it does I would suggest that you have a shear pin on the right side that is broken. If that is the case you will have to pull the wheel off and replace the shear pin. You can tell if it's broken by lifting the right side and trying to turn the wheel by hand.If it turns easily its broken.
This is an idea only. You might want to check both wheels as I'm not sure as far as the steering is concerned.

Snow thrower won't throw snow

the problem could be the snow is to heavy for the motor to keep up, if thats the case you may need to upgrade to a more powerful model or try not to overload it. take it a little slower so the motor can keep up. but try tightening the belt. with your pointer finger push down on the belt it should have about a half inch give, if it moves more than that its too loose and probably slipping under load
