If fridge is freezing, check the door seal on the freezer part. Make sure it is completely sealed, The freezer can leak air, allowing motor to pump freon continuously to fridge.
If the seal looks ok, try turning down fridge temp. If you have done this already, than I would look into having thermostat or thermometer sensor replaced.

Make sure you clean the backside of refrigerator at bottom from dust. Make sure you have the recommended clearance from wall. Also make sure the food in freezer and frige have clearance to allow air to circulate around food. Keep playing with your controlls...The dails might be on wrong

GE GSS25LGMA refrigirator/freezer refrigirator side is freezing

There is an electrically activated air dampener in the upper left back side of the refrigerator section which most likely has broken (in the open position), allowing cold air from the freezer to continue to enter the fresh foods section. Replace the dampener assembly.

Fridge freezes

think you are placing too many things at the back of the wall. That is where the cool air is coming from. Try not to choke up the back.

Water leak

My frige was doing the same thing. The drain plug was frozen. Try checking your drain plug, which is located behind the panel on the back side of the unit.

Freezer problems

this particular refrig has only one temperature control which as you know is loated in the refrig section. but temperature isnt your problem. when the icemaker fill tube freezes up like yours has it is generally a sign of a bad icemaker fill valve. the valve seals will go bad and allow water seepage into the line, this seepage will freeze creating a snowball effect freezing the tube. you can use a hair dryer to remove the ice from the tube, and either replace the fill vlave yourself or have it replaced
btw the fill valve is the part that the other end of the fill tube is connected to on the back/bottom of the refrig in the compressor compartment. Good luck and message me back if you have any questions. Thanks Peyton

Side by side freezer

Check that the freezer circulating fan is running. The frige section may have dampers or vents (lets the freezer air cool the refer section) that are open too much. Usually the bottom area in the frige has a control lever to meter how much cold air gets to that section (lots for meat, little for fruits, etc.). Check the owners manual for operation of those vent dampers.
