Hello,
you're out of luck, unless you're familiar with "shorting" the bios chip.
Of course, you can contact Toshiba for a workaround. Proof of ownership is necessary.
good luck

You don't need to access bios to change boot drive just hit escape key a couple of times when you power on and it will give you options for which drive to boot from.

SOURCE: Need how to access bios setup utility -Panasonic CF-270 Notebook.

Hello,

To access your BIOS Setup please restart your laptop then during the first boot process kindly press either the following:

1. F1
2. F2
3. F8
4. F12
5. F10
6. Del
7. Esc

Cause the bios setup is design in different manufacturer of laptop so the best thing to do is read the information during the first boot of your laptop it is always display the keyboard sequence to access the bios setup.

Thanks

I have a PANASONIC CF-RZ4 with supervisor password. Does anyone have fresh copy of BIOS.

What to do if you have a Panasonic CF-RZ4 with a supervisor password
If you have forgotten your supervisor's password for your Panasonic CF-RZ4, you will need to reset it in order to gain access to the BIOS settings.

In order to do this, you will need to have a fresh copy of the BIOS file for your CF-RZ4. You can usually find this on the manufacturer's website.

Once you have the BIOS file, you will need to use a program like 7-Zip to extract the contents of the file. Inside the extracted folder, you will find a file called "bios.bin". This is the file you will need to use to reset your supervisor's password.

To reset the password, you will need to boot into the BIOS settings. To do this, you will need to press the F2 key when the CF-RZ4 logo appears on the screen.
I hope this helps!

How do I reset the bios Password on a Panasonic Cf-51

If you have forgotten your bios password on your Panasonic Cf-51, there is no need to worry. There are a few simple steps that you can follow in order to reset the password and regain access to your computer.

First, locate the RTCRST jumper on the motherboard. This is usually located near the CMOS battery. Once you have located the jumper, remove it and then replace it in the opposite position. This will reset the bios password.

Next, locate the power button on the front of the computer. Once you have located the power button, press and hold it for a few seconds. This will reset the power to the computer and will also clear the bios password.
I hope this helps!

    Cf-30 disable touchscreen

    On all Panasonic Toughbook Notebooks,
you must get into the BIOS by pressing
the F2 Function key when you turn on the
Toughbook as it is booting. Press F2 repeatedly.
This must be done in the 1-2 seconds before
Windows starts to load. Then you will see
Touchscreen usually on the 2nd page with the
word "Enable". Simply select enable and press
"Enter" and the choice between enable and disable
will appear. Then select "Disable" with the cursor
and then press Enter. Finally you need to
"Save and Exit" the changes in the BIOS.
That is it. Good Luck to you.

reformatting the disk / restore computer back to company settings...is only the resolution for this...

To reinstall your operating system, you must have a CD drive in your multimedia pocket.

Note: CF-51 (Mk2) and CF-51 (Mk3) can also boot to an external Panasonic USB CD drive.

When the laptop is first powered on, the Panasonic name appears in white lettering with the phrase 'Press F2 to enter Setup' directly below it. When this phrase appears on the screen, immediately press F2 on your keyboard. Put the Panasonic recovery CD in your drive and use the arrow keys to move to the boot tab. Change the order of boot so the CD drive boots first. To do this, highlight the CD drive and press F6 until CD drive is the No. 1 listing. Press F10 to save your changes, exit and follow the instructions when your CD starts running.

I cannot boot from the cd rom to do a fresh install of windows xp onto the laptop (Toshiba Satellite 1805-S274 PC Notebook)

Most computers need to have the boot order reset in the Bios to enable booting from cd. The following should be the correct way to access the Bios setup for this model.

Starting with the system powered off (not in sleep/suspend or hibernate mode)-Start with the system powered off. Press the power button and then immediately press and hold the Esc key while the system runs the POST (Power On Self Test). When the POST finishes, a prompt will appear telling you to press the F1 key to enter BIOS Setup. At that time, press the F1 key to access the BIOS Setup program.

Once in the Bios setup, change the boot order to boot first from cd, then save changes and exit. You should then be able to run the cd install.

My computer won't start up right

press F1, when it boots you are going to have to go down to the date and time, and click on it then you will need to put in the correct day date and time. If pressing f2 it will take you into the bios, and you can set it from there prior to booting, unless you know what you are doing, stay away from the bios, it can really screw up your computer. Good luck and Peace,Gym
