Try getting the lens cleaned with a Cd cleaner and see if that works. If that doesnt even spin then the Spindle Motor that spins the disk has become faulty and needs changing.
This Is Gonna Sound Nuts lol But Get Another Cd You Don't Like Or A Blank And Hit Eject While Sliding The Disk In Gently Toward The Top The Other Will Come Out And Then You Can Remove Both Disks. Precautions The blank and or bad cd doesn't need to go in further then half way. you have got to hit eject while sliding the other in. the cd your placing in gently has to stay close to the top. Mine Does This With Every Other cd. I Promise This Works.

Try cleaning the laser lens with a cleaning disk like you might find a Wal-Mart or Radio Shack and see if that helps. If the lens on the laser is too dirty to read that it has a disk then it will not attempt to spin the disk. If cleaning doesn't solve your problem then it may be a much bigger problem like weak laser etc. Good luck.
