Phillips wac700 says booting up has not been used for a while
HelloJust unplug the device from AC mains socket and replug it after 3 minutes and see whether it helps you. If not, a firware upgrade will be necessary. The supplied PC installer CD contains Media Manager [DMM] software. it will help you to upgrade for WAC700 center. For details see DMMs' help file. Refer to the manual CONNECT YOUR PC to learn how to install the software. OK.
Wacs700
From HDD mode on the centre, press menu and select "Station Management".
If the option is available select "Delete Station" and delete any stations listed.
Select "Add New Station" and the unit will start searching.
On the station press menu and select "installation mode"
If this option is not available, try from another source setting, such as AUX.
Once the centre has found the station, press stop on the centre, as the station cannot connect until the centre has stopped searching.
If this doesn't work, you will have to reset both units to factory settings and start again.(Menu -----> Settings ------> Restore)

Philipss music centre can't power up
If the center wont power up, then its the power supply thats the issue. If it turns on and the screen says " Booting please wait " and does nothing else then internal hard drive is at fault. Hope this helps.
